Would a 4th house venus in a composite chart have that "at home with each other" feeling as well?

Fourth house in composite also means that most likely your early childhoods have a similar feeling together... you can probably both relate to the circumstances of growing up and discovering the world.. family life and the way home feels. The love from parents, etc...
Home life is important to both of you, and the relationship, you will surround your home with beautiful things, and express yourself very well together within the home. Attractive surroundings, comforting emotional solidarity through your home and the things you physically acquire. You'd prefer to have a seductive home cooked meal and a cuddle, and sex at home, as opposed to going out ( once you establish intimacy )

Both of your Venus’s in the other’s 4th House – indicates a strong family attachment, one where you both enjoy the getting together of family and other fiends at your house for meals and just being together. You both have great ideas on the home’s look and decorations. You both will strive to provide a place for the other to express their creative talents. You encourage each other to do more and more in the way of socializing, particularly at your home. The art of cooking plays an important part in this relationship. This aspect favors harmony in your family life, and a good marriage. Both of you take comfort in your home, preferring to make it the base of your endeavors.

My Venus is in my boyfriend's 4th house, but his is in my 3rd house (close to my 4th though). Who feels more at home with the other, me or him?

Also, do the synastry aspects of Venus show how the other person's family will relate to you? Is it possible to see stuff like that in synastry?

Synasty shows what each person brings to the relationship, and of course his or her family is part of that.

i've been meaning to ask this question - what if someone's (mine) venus falls in another's (my partner's) 3rd house, but it is conjunct the IC cusp by 1°? so basically it's almost not even in the 3rd house. my thought is that venus would function as if it's actually in his 4th house, for the most part...anyone have any thoughts?

thanks,
chrissy

Yes, and any aspect close to and angle ( within an orb of what... 1 degree?) would strengthen that as well. Contcts between the angles, in synastry and in our own charts become important.
