hi! i didn't want to hijack the last thread (never know whether i should or shouldn't post questions about my stuff in someone else's thread..) so i thot i'd start a new one, if that's okay..i'm wondering if anyone could give feedback on the saturn aspects between my boyfriend and i. my chart ruler is saturn (cap rising), and my saturn is 12 degrees virgo, conjunct my north node (18 degrees). my boyfriend's sun is 14 pisces. we are VERY closely connected, and both feel we are soulmates, without a doubt. i am wondering if this aspect relates to my needing to help him be more responsible? he had a very traumatic childhood, and his parents REALLY effed with him. he still feels tremendous guilt at times for wanting to individuate from them (this could also relate to his north node aries in the 10th) and be his own person. he was beaten daily, but also spoiled, and made to feel emotionally responsible for his parents, who consider him their jewel. so in his life thus far, he has not learned how to be his own person, or take care of himself very well. every day we dissect the drama that presents between us, and we help eachother throo it. he helps me by being so damn sweet and kind (cancer rising factors in here, and taurus moon, conjunct mine), and i help him by putting things into perspective and helping him find his accountability. in some ways it feels weird to have this role, but he does not resent it, he welcomes and is grateful for it, and i love to help.. it makes us both feel better, and appreciated. so is this the role of saturn here, or is there more? also, his saturn is conjunct my neptune (less than 1 degree apart), and i'm REALLY curious about this one.. and don't really have any ideas about it.. thank you! so your saturn is oppositte his sun...I thiks this aspect indicates that you are some kind of authority for him,but is not an harmonic aspect so it might cause some problems,maybe he could feel that you limit his "self".
On the other way his saturn conjuct your neptune, it might mean that he could be somekind of basis of your dreams, a solid rock where you can rest a litle...I think this is a good aspect, but the important in a synastry or a composite is to catch the overall energy of the chart,maybe you could post it here,it´smore easy...bye

i'm not sure that he feels i limit his self; at least, he has never expressed such.. in the least.. but i will ask him how he feels about that forsure!
thank you for looking into this! would you just want our birth info, or for me to put up the aspects, or the lists for each of our planetary placements?

hey there!"my chart ruler is saturn (cap rising), and my saturn is 12 degrees virgo, conjunct my north node (18 degrees). my boyfriend's sun is 14 pisces. we are VERY closely connected, and both feel we are soulmates, without a doubt." so your saturn is opposite his sun by 2° - a pretty tight aspect! since saturn is your chart ruler, saturn's a big focalizer for you. his sun touching off your saturn like that is important...any synastric contact between our chart focalizers and another person's planets is amplified in importance. "i am wondering if this aspect relates to my needing to help him be more responsible." i'd answer with a resounding yes! (judging from the information given, of course.) you're the saturn person in this equation, which means that generally speaking you're the responsible one. you inspire in him saturn-like feelings and responses. you give him a bit of stability and security that it sounds like he never had. you ground him. everything about saturn comes with a price, yet if we aren’t willing to pay, what does that say about our “spine”, the backbone of who we are? i personally do think of something “meant to be” when i spot saturn/personal planet contacts between people. the only question is, what? saturn has a lot to do with sexual attraction. it’s awesome in this, because when saturn is evoked, so is our shadow. you wake up the unconscious and you are surely going to fall in love (unless, of course, you are repulsed!). we can long for the other in inexplicable ways, because it seems they carry a key to our own self. and if saturn is involved, then i believe they do! a professional astrologer i know told me she doesn't take attractions seriously unless she sees a strong saturn contact, particularly to the sun or venus. (and also moon, mercury, nodes, mars and angles.)

yes, it does! thank you  the funny thing is; tho we were both very very very attracted to one another aesthetically/physically, we never had a sexual thot about one another for quite some time.. it came in gradually, and we were both nervous about it (but in a very sweet, shy sorta way). we connected so well in every other way, and didn't want to be sexual too soon, for fear that we would replace that with real communication. we kissed a LOT tho (and oh MY! nothing more magical in my entire life!).. and once we started to make love, i can't even explain the loveliness of it. out of this world! no other sex i've had has EVER come close. it is really beautiful. so that is interesting about the sexual attraction thing. and we are sooooo attracted to one another. and neither of us has been attracted to anyone else since we met. it's really interesting! we have some other connections, in the area of what your astrologer friend referred to, like his sun conjunct my south node, his north node sextile my sun, merc and mars, my asc conjunct his neptune, and opposite his asc.. oh there are more, i just can't remember! but thank you!!

hmm.. it doesn't give the aspects to a composite chart. wonder why?angelicus and chrissy (my best friend's name is chrissy.. well, that's his nickname!), thank you so much for looking at our info! i've been studying astrology for a while, but the relationship stuff eludes me.. and there is so so much i don't know, so feedback is precious to me!
a couple of things i noticed that is interesting is that our composite sun and moon are still in my sun and moon signs.. but the sun is at the *very* edge of aquarius.. and that is sooo interesting, because i feel *almost* piscean with him.. like he pulls me into that realm all the time.. tho i do stay unashamedly cerebral, and he definitely joins me here too!
also, that our true/north node is gemini, in the third, no less. don't know much about this placement, but am intrigued due to the fact that gemini is twins, after all! would the composite north node be as relevant and important as a natal north node, to the relationship? thanks again

I´m going to try to give you an intuitive response about what I´catched concern to energy of the composite chart,but don´t forget it´s only my point of view..
(sorry my english is not very good,I hope you understand everything)ascendent aries mars on the 12th house, the house of the things that take people away from the normality, of the hidden, maybe your relationship is some kind of secret,your sexuality is a secret.... sun in aquarius on the 11th,the house of friendship but also of the unconventional, the ruller of this house uranus in on the 8th,the house of sexuallity,that make me think about a different sexuallity,the basis of this relationship is some kind of different experiences concerning sexuallity venus on the 9th, again the sense of adventure, new experinces,travelling,the foreign,and neptune also,new experiences again.extravagance that you both like pluto and saturn onthe 7th , again the hidden from other people,the restriction by the other like your relationship was a forbidden one the basis of this relationship is a powerfull

hmm.. well, our sexuality is not violent!!  it is very tender and watery.. transcendant. powerful, yes.. and hidden in a sense (for instance, we have not told my ex, who i'm sort of friends with -takes care of our son- for several reasons, and we kept our relationship a secret from my boyfriend's parents because they're strict mormons and would not approve of our relationship- and don't.. well, his dad is okay with it, but his mom is really um, scary about it, actually). so you are right that in some ways it is hidden.. and definitely unconventional. he is from guatemala, strict mormon upbringing, and there is a significant age difference (but we are the same maturity intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually, and it does not bother us in the least).
i will reply more, but i have to put my baby to sleep..
