What would compel a man to be a virgin at 42? I recently came across a Pisces who lived in NYC of all places, always meeting women with problems. Does anyone believe this is possible and would you have guessed pisces?

I talked to him recently and he is now no longer a virgin, but he claimed he had to hire a woman to make love to him. Why and how is this possible? My venus in aries is so devastated by that innocence lost to a professional? Does this bother anyone else, or am I the only one obsessed with other people's sexual habits?

I have met people like that. I knew one who finally had sex at the age of 27 and another at 26. One of them was always depressed and I'd always have to tell him to not rush that the time would come. But in theres 40s wow! I know one also who was so desperate that he went to a prostitute also.

I live in Nyc.

Does he go out alot? Any lady friends?

Pisces....Known several. Seems the Piscean men I have known are either satyrs without discretion, or celebates.

I suppose there are degrees of virginity, there is such a push for certain kinds of intimacy in this society it's sad.

He says he does have girlfriends but they all have problems, he did say he's going to cuddle parties, do he's at least out there,

I haven't heard of that before.

I'm not at a place where I would be offended by him losing it to a professional. Having grown up a somewhat sexually repressed Capricorn, and finally getting over that in my early 30's (the last couple years), I feel that he certainly should have done it at his earliest opportunity. I lost my virginity at 20, and it took ten years from then to finally be with someone who made me feel comfortable with it. In my mind if he's a sexual person by nature (as I always was) then he needs to get on with it, so he can learn to have some fun with it. Maybe he isn't, though. Who knows?

yes natasha it does bother me. but thats jus becoz my idea of sex is not something that is separate, it comes with a relationship, meaningfulness, and at the right time with the right person,

if it isnt done that way...i guess it just doesnt have that sanctity anymore, that is associated with sex, for me....it cheapens the word, cheapens the act and the experience.

virginity is an important part of a persons physiological aspects; losing your virginity is a large transition and sexual behavior is, just that, behavior, not random acts that have no meaning. behavior in itself has meaning of some sort, to try to render it meaningless ... makes it devalued. not that it is a BAD thing, but it doesnt hold the value it should.

i think i will have a lot of ppl jump on me for this one. lol

but i really do believe this; i am not going around like queen victoria preventing ppl from losing their virginity. but i do believe that ppl who do lose it without considering these things regret it at some pt, because when they finally do encounter sex with the right person they see what they were missing, and the sex before that just seems....wrong.

How is a person still a virgin in their 40s? I think he went to a sex worker out of pure shame, and that is sad. So, is there something about him personally that would repel women? Like his looks or personality?--BTW, nothing surprises me about Pisces anymore.

The other day my boyfriend and I were talking about people who save themselves for marriage. He says that you might end up saving yourself for something bad. It's rarely that people find the perfect person for them. Just look at Jessica Simpson.

Sometimes lifes a b*tch

I've been hurt in relationships before and I am glad I went through those experiences. Made me even stronger each time. I won't take crap from any man.
