Ok, i posted awhile ago about someone online that seemed to like me but i couldn't see the reason for it as to me there was 'nothing there'.but this isn't about him.. there is someone else i met recently (in real life for once, a young teacher of mine), and i'm extremely attracted to him (actually quite rare for me), and after - er - obtaining his birthdate, checked the synastry and thought there was something there but i'm losing faith in astrology a bit, i don't know if anything in the synastry is strong enough to get him past my unfortunate appearance, he was sitting so close to me recently and it was all i could do not to grab him, yet he seemed quite focused on what he was saying (don't you hate men who think with their brains! :P) i'm sorry if this seems silly to you all, but it's rare for me to be so attracted and i just want some success with a fellow human being for once. Also, i'd thought of wishing him happy birthday but as he doesn't know that i know it, that would probably scare him (it turns out it's on a saturday when i wouldn't see him - maybe just as well but it makes me genuinely sad not to have the chance). My Data: 16 Dec 82, 1:20am, Dun, NZ His: 13 Aug 74, unknown, Toronto, Can (perhaps people would rather see the astro rundown) Anyway, it seems to me with Sun trine sun, sun trine moon, my sun/moon sextile uranus, my venus trine his mars, his venus opposite my mars, etc. that i can't be a complete fool here? please help with any opinions, guys, and keep in mind that i'm not outgoing, and not a supermodel, but i'm getting desperate. thanks in advance, lip

Hi Lip, I wouldn´t worry about synastries at all if neither of you have made any moves ( or at least I would try not to decide anything because of it). Leave that for later if there is a chance. I´m actually pretty crappy to give advice, but I would try to act natural and see what happens from there. You seem to be worried about your looks, stop thinking you´re not a super model, there´s not so many around, and focus on trying to feel more at ease with yourself, that shows!! As one Spanish designer said in an interview just yesterday " the sexier girl is never the prettiest, it´s the one who loves every inch of her own skin" Good luck and all the best. Relax and enjoyIP: Logged |

thanks elemiah! i didn't think it was crappy advice at all - i think you're right that i should try just acting naturally, i mean at the end of the day i can only be myself. I just find synastry the added boost sometimes but perhaps i'll wait and see. (still annoyed that his bday falls on the weekend though, lol) I like that quote too!IP: Logged |

If he is your teacher, even if he is attracted to you, hopefully he is smart enough not to show it. You can really get into trouble when your a teacher in a situation like this, if you're not careful. Its OK to have a student teacher relationship, but stop it there. Sorry if this upsets you, but as a teacher, I've seen nothing but trouble come because of such a relationship. Lanny IP: Logged |
