Hello everyone...new to the site and I have to say that I love it. Everyone seems to be bursting at the seams with knowledge and it is always nice to have a new perspective. But I was curious if any one had any idea why you were attracted to certain physical attributes of a person. Me, I am a pisces sun/cancer moon/sco rising..lots of water, I know..and the first thing I look at are hands. Can't explain why. I guess maybe it's a sensuality thing. Just curious what your thoughts were and why.

with your water placements you are probably very sensitve to other peoples energies and hands tell a story of a person's sensuality and grace. you are a tactile person I bet, and relish touching your lover. you yourself have nice sensing hands therefore project it forward. like usually attracts like, right?

pisces rules the hands and feet if i recall adn pisceans usually have small delicate feet for thier relative size. this applies to pis moon/asc too i;ve noticed.

me~ i'm highly attracted to a man with clean manicured hands, tanned, with soft delicate hair (if any) and the contrast of a big masculine watch.

Sometimes I get shivers from hearing a man speak...then I turn around and it's like "WOAH!! What was I thinking?!" Voice can be such a turn-on.

My main thing with guys is smell. Everyone has a scent and if I'm drawn in by theirs, I know we have good chemistry. Either that or they're wearing Crave (ooooo, I love that cologne....mmmm)

I am turned on by eyes, the soulful ones that really look into you, hair (long) and voices too. The Irish male voice really does it for me. I also like men that can dance and move well and play music, oh yeah and sing too.

Hey Spellbound I am a Pisces female too and I too notice hands. I am sensetive to the touch and don't be touching me with ruff hands..I like guys with soft pretty hands and the nails have to be clean all the time..I hate nub finger nails too..

The right kind of voice can be a real turn-on. I am extremely sensitive to voices (and sound in general), and eyes, eyes, eyes.

What I don't like: men with delicate, thin, surgeon type fingers. Gives me the creeps. Hands have to be somewhat fleshy, and nails clean. Hey, I'm a Virgo after all. A man has to have hands that show he could punch someone out in a bar fight, even though I never go to a bar, and neither do the kinds of guys I like! Does that make sense?? Probably not, but who cares?

Also, I hate a small nose on a guy. To me, it means lack of character, lack of will power, and a small you know what. (I may be totally wrong about that, never having checked out how my prejudices pan out, and not intending to either, but you weren't asking about the validity about our preferences, were you?)

I totally agree I don't like small noses AT ALL.. The bigger the better, but no hook nose please and no strange bulby things on the end of your nose..lol. Libra dudes often have small noses.

So many Virgos I'm a cusp 29 degrees Virgo, but a lot of those Great /Neurotic Virgo traits.

Anyway I like Smell too, I swear I was in love with my ex for 20 years just because he smell drove me mad, although he was a jerk and a liar and a cheater!

I like Eyes too and Lips, voice is important and they must Taste good!

I got the Whole Five Senses going! I'm a HSP - Highly Sensitive Person and I'm ruled by The Senses!

Ooops, forgot smell. I know what you mean, VirgoLibra, me too, I like the way my husband's skin smells, though I wouldn't be able to describe it. BTW, it's a real turn-off for me if someone douses himself with cologne, uses strong soap, harsh deodorant, etc. It's like making love to a chemical factory! Ugh...

Also, how the skin FEELS. Some guys have baby-soft skin -- don't like it. Also, at least SOME chest hair is needed.

I like chest hair too, but not too much and it must be fine/soft and not course. I also don't like a huge mound of wirey pubic hair..ewwww. Please guys trim this area.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I am sure that I will enjoy my time here.

I never thought of all the water placements having something to do with it. The strange thing is is that I am massage therapist so I definately am a very tactile and sensual person. There are lots of things that attract me to men, scent being and eyes being a close second and third. But hands are definately the biggest thing. It just says soo much about the way a person responds, their personality, and how they are as a lover. It's definately a tell-tale sign.

spellbound, with all that water and absorbing people's tension, you must have to do a lot of aural cleansing after working on people. i bet you're a terrific therapist for that reason though.

You know its funny, my sister's a pisces and loves feet. I like getting mine massaged and sh*t but she LOVES feet and what kind of shoes a guy is wearing....so weird

Do you think guys think about these things? Or are the majority of them just thinking below the belt? I've never once heard a man say, "Wow, she has beautiful hands!" But that's just me...Who knows maybe there are some sensitive fellows out there...like to hear their opinion.. I read a quote the other day, can't remember where as I read so much, but it said for men everything has to do with sex.....everything but sex..Kind of made me think. Thanks to everyone for being so welcoming..It's so much fun!

I look at a man's eyes, first full of emotion but also alert, watching (me...ha ha) then at his chest and upper back/shoulders, especially if he's wearing just his levis, minus his shirt, walking through the house, unaware that I am watching him...

Lord! I just wrote out my big, long thing, with picture examples and everything and lost it somehow.

Ok, I'm a guy. First thing is typically that the woman is feminine. It's something I notice right away, and it's the first possible attractor.

They must have a lovable face, which is an almost intangible thing to try to describe. I do love eyes. I like if they seem too big, I like it if they have a lot of soul, and I like it if they're bright.

Scent is also pretty huge. I LOVE a great smelling woman. I want a woman to draw me in with her scent.

Those are the major things. I love the rest as well, of course. So many charming bits.

Thanks AG for the input. It's nice to have a male perspective and know that genuine guys still exist..

Me being pisces, I think you described me to a fault. My favorite thing to do is be feminine..if that's something you can actually do..LOL. I love sweet-smelling, sensual aromas. My make-up cabinet seems to be jammed full of them. As for the eyes, well that's a normal pisces trait..Have you dated/been interested in many pisces types?
