I met my soulmate years ago when I was in college. He was a Virgo and I'm a Scorp. We had a torrid affair for about a year and we fell madly, deeply in love. There was a glitch that I didn't know about: he already had a lovely Libra woman who wanted to marry him and who had been waiting for years for him to come around.

To make a long story short. I broke it off with him because he "wasn't communicating" and he married Libra within the week. He wrote to me telling me this and that was the first I knew that his "friend" was actually a love interest. I couldn't eat for an entire week I was so heart-broken, but eventually I tried to move on.

My Virgo and I kept in touch as "friends" over the years. We would talk at least once a week. I still loved him, but he was married so our attraction was never discussed except the one time I saw him, he kissed me and told me he was wistful. I can still feel that kiss But he was married so we never discussed it and I dated other guys (married one--got divorced).

Anyway, I moved and met my Aqua guy. And was finally able to let go..after only 15 years! Problem was that Virgo SoulMate felt me let him go and began a slippery slide into depression. About six monthes before he killed himself, he visited the city I live in and HAD to see me. Unfortunately, we couldn't meet up. When he did kill himself, his wife emailed me to tell me.

After I learned of his suicide, I literally lost track of six weeks of my life, my grief was so strong. And then something weird happened. Virgo Soulmate became a constant presence in my life...like his soul was literally hanging around me. He told me all about suicide and it's aftermath, he visited me in my dreams and we had long, coherent conversations, he went on dates with me and we would discuss the group or movie I saw, he was always there. Finally, late last year his soul moved on...he said goodbye and I haven't heard from him since. I think he is now truly happy and my mind is at peace.

I am just very thankful that I got to know what a real soulmate relationship is like and how intense the connection is

OMG..how devistated you must have been. I am so sorry that this happened. But I believe something beautiful did come out of it: You and he both felt something that you probably won't ever experience again. Virgo men, in my experience, are really elusive. Being a pisces, I am always drawn to them and seem to have a virgo magnet. I think the great thing about virgos and any water sign is that you both can leave the relationship, be it friends or otherwise, learning some important lesson about yourself. Generally with Virgos it seems to be how to get them to open up and trust their emotions and on the flip side you learn self-preservation. I am sure that your pairing was a beautiful expression of something deep inside of you that you both felt and somehow you sparked it in each other. It's sad to think about all of the what if's, but don't. If you two are meant to be together, you will in another life. I am sure this is not the first time you have experienced him and I am sure it won't be the last. There is a wonderful article on throughnightsfire.com that talks about dangerous love...full of karmic debt that I think you might enjoy. I had an experience with a virgo and it totally changed me, once upon a time. Good luck on your journey to heal and remember that you have memories that are sacred..Keep them safe and recall them often. They will give you the strength to go forward and love again.

I can strongly relate to your story. I have had a few soulmate friends who are now deceased, including two which have been suicides (I tend to connect with people who are artistic, and that also means people who are often struggling with various issues - I myself have had chronic, ans at times suicidal, depression since I was 8).

I often encoutner them is dreams on througha sense of their presnece in the now and now. I have a 7th house Pisces moon - it seems that for me, death can do very little in severing teh bond I have with certain person. It is as if the boundaries between this life and the one after our death is a bit more transparent, as i have had frequent experiences with the deceased sincee I was about 11. But to be able to at least sense my friends is consuling. It's a mystery - it doesn't take away the pain of their absence, but it does help bear that burden better.

Gemini, I am so glad you can relate. It's a bizarre experience and relating it to other people can make it seem a bit insane, but it is real which makes it even more wonderful. To this day, I have a feeling that Virgo is guarding me...it could be wishful thinking, but it feels too real. Know what I mean?
