A lot of attraction, emotional intensity, possible psychic connection, and also ego conflict, a disparity of power/control (one partner dominates the other) and the potential for abuse. Subconscious and emotional issues can be brought to the surface within the context of the relationship, making one of the partners very vulnerable and (if it's a negative experience) there's the potential of psychological trauma due to it. In positive situations, this can lead to healng, growth and resolution. It depends on the rest of the chart to discern how this apsect might play out. Negative traits could be more prominent if the either planet is afflicted by a hard aspect with a third planet, OR if Pluto was in a prominent place in the composite chart (like 1st House, on an angle, etc.).

Overall this is a transforming aspect, for better or worse.

BTW, in my current relationship I have my moon in Pisces opposed my guy's Pluto in Virgo both in synastry adn in the composite. It's rather intense and it would worry e more if I wasn't as secure and self-aware as I am about my own emotional issues and my own ability to stand up for myself. Plus I have his venus conjunct my Pluto in synastry - there's a weird balancing out of power between. We both are very aware that we could hurt each other deeply inthis relationship, and can openly acknowledge it. I suspect if we ever got into apower play with each other, it'd end in a stalemate, although we'd probably bang each other up pretty good. It's a risk, but in relationships, you have to take that risk of exposing yourself in ordet o have imtimacy. It's just a matter of whether you feel this particaulr person's worth that risk.
