I know some sun signs aren't supposed to be good together, astrologically speaking. But I am having a lot of fun with a Sagittarius the past few months.

A Sagittarius sun (29'51 so capricorn cuspy) w/ Taurus moon, Sagittarius venus, Gemini rising, and Leo mars. Is complimenting my Taurus sun (25' 09), Leo moon, Cancer venus/rising, Pisces mars very nicely.

I particularly like the sun conjunct moon aspect. We get along really well, naturally so, which is nice. The Sag may be, in essence, too taurus for me, but I like that he is as unusual as I am. If nothing else we are friends.

So give those "should this work?", "this can't work", "this is doomed!", relationships a try. It may be just be, not necessarily love, but something good.

You never know what's going on in the charts that can modify the Sun.

Thanks, Pixie!
And thank you for tha wonderful post in the "why you love your lover?" thread. Truly inspirational to remind us singles to keep it simple as possible... good is good, doesn't mean you have to be twins, lol.

I'm a Bull who happens to get along great with Archers. The ones I know are a ton of fun and we always have alot of laughs when we get together. The Sun/Moon synastry conjunction is a VERY nice aspect to have in a relationship. "We get along really well, naturally so, which is nice." Yep, it's a great aspect to have with someone. Feels very natural and comfortable....like 'home'. Conjunction = Fusion. A melding or blending of your female/moon and male/sun energies together...

Even if the female is the one with her Sun conjuncting his Moon, it's still nice.

Running bull... don't put my love on a pedestal... what was simple to you made me realize I don't like simple. Good is good... true... BUT.
Simple is good in many scenarios. My list was long but populated with what?
Reasons that are easy.
Anyone can do that.
I have a Neptune/Venus conjunction in the fifth house.
Is all I'm saying.
But I am glad it spoke to you.

In in cases where there is good synastry with other planets, the Sun-on-Sun issue still needs to be recognized and dealt with effectively. The important thing about synastry that involves two seemingly mismatched Suns is that you need accept that the Suns will tempted to push each other around - that's what Suns do. In every Sun pairing there's the need to establish a heirarchy, where one Sun gets to "shine" brighter than the other. Some Sun pairings are very harmonius, like Aries and Gemini, where the mutable, airy Gem Sun doesn't mind letting the bossier Aries Sun take the lead. But other pairings - say, liek a Taurus and a Leo - can result in personality clashes and power struggles that can emerge despite otherwise great synastry. The most frequent way I've seen this is one Sun person will try to "mold" the other person's Sun into something they'd be more comfortable with.

Case in point: Taurus-Gemini pairings are very common and often very successful, usually due to other personal planets. But still I've yet to see a Taurus-Gemini pair where the Taurus wasn't trying to get the Gem to be more Taurean, or the Gem trying to get the Taurus to be more Gemish. There needs to be an open acceptence that fundamentally, both persons are of very different persoanlities and that will never change, even if other planets match up well.
