DFA: Ever worth while relationship that I've been in has had something major going on in the chart.Hubby: composite 8 opp and 13+ squares... and a Grand Cross on top of it w/ Uranus, MC, Jupiter and Saturn.
1st best friend: composite Kite w/ Aries Sun/Venus/mc conjunction trine Leo Saturn, trine Sag Neptune (which is also conjunct to Vertex) and Libra Pluto sitting at the bottom conjunct to IC.
2nd best friend: composite Kite W/ Leo Jupiter/Asc conjunction opp Aqua Juno/Moon/Dec trine Gemini Mars, trine Libra Uranus.
3rd best friend:... you know the story behind that one, the one with the Grand Sextile composite.
quickly becoming 4th best friend: Aries Jupiter/Chiron conjunction opp Scorpio Uranus trine Cancer Sun trine Aqua Moon/MC.
I wouldn't give up any of them for the world... granted, some of the relationships are much easier than others and there are different emotional undertones to them, but the energy flow between us is so intense... these people make me happy to be alive... make me feel more alive.
now, as far as the straight interp... this is how it has always worked for me: Much like doing a natal reading, the Grand Trine part is always the instant connection. The amount of comfort that the configuration makes in a composite is unbelievable. (I also find that strong Jupiters/Sag seem to show up quite a bit in good friendships) your guard instantly goes down with these people, no matter what planets are in the configuration.
again, like a natal chart, the opp gives focus to that easy feeling that the grand trine makes.
On a side note... I've been thinking lately about the true meaning of opp in composites... but I've gotta do more research on it. If you think about it, a composite chart takes the midpoints between the two charts right? well, two planets actually have two midpoints, that are opp of each other.. so if two planets are opp in a composite chart, there is actually a conjunction between a short arc MP and long arc MP.... but that's another topic.
