And is sag your fifth house, Pix?

(If I'm calculating correctly... Leo rising, three, four, five...)

I think the sag in love is a different creature from the one portrayed in most astro books. Would you agree, Lialei?

Yes it is.. conjunct Mr.Neptune.

I adore Sag people. Can always talk well and understand where they are coming from and vice versa.
I have a lot of fire in my chart though, and the water I have (other than houses/asteroids) is Scorpio, who has to learn from Sag in the karmic sense, right?

Hello Beautiful Ladies

I truly would like to continue this talk too. Hope to return later on when I have more time to get into things.
While here, I have to say that for quite a while now I have been drawn to both of you, future and pix, from reading your posts.
Pix, if we were to relate, whether privately or here, I have this strong intuition that there are things we are or have been going through that each other could relate in a way that others couldn't really understand. I've had this feeling for a while.
And, you too, future. If there are parrallels between you both...have a feeling it could be a triangular parrallel.

future, if you only knew what The Doors have meant to me. whoah, first read No One Here Gets Out Alive on my 11th birthday. Their perspective and music has inspired me in so many ways throughout my life.

Well, more soon. Thanks for your kind words here. Have truly brightened a disappointing and heartbreaking day. I've concluded I am truly a fool for having faith in others the way I do. Won't even go into that....but THANK YOU {{BOTH}}.

Lialei, I also enjoy The Doors and Jim Morrison's poetry. Cool! Perhaps we could discuss this sometime. Your introduction at 11 sounds interesting.

As far as the parallels... must be something about strong, independent, yet romantic women. Tough combo to live with if you ask me.

I'm looking forward to getting into this more. Just got home from work, so I have tons of stuff to do.

In response to feeling like a fool for having faith-- that's a toughie. I can relate, though. In fact, my best friend is a scorp (with leo rising, just like pix, but gemini moon.) She's been having a really hard time with this very thing for a while now, so it comes up quite a bit in our conversations.

Yes... I am looking forward to talking more. Sounds like we would have lots to talk about!

good morning.

I agree, future. would love to get to know you better. I always enjoy your posts. You have such a cool and loving way about you.

I've always gotten along well with Scorpios too. 2 of my best friends from the past were Scorpio ladies. Always usually feel an instant intuitive understanding with them.
Pix, you have Venus conj. Neptune in Sag?
I have Sun (Sag) conj. Neptune (Scorpio).

Strong Neptune people carry a feeling in their hearts throughout their lives of a mystical Spiritual kind of Love that transcends anything mundane or ordinary. It's kind of like a haunting feeling of what could be...or like a memory kept deep inside of such feelings from another realm or time...feels that way sometimes anyway.

Sometimes I feel out of time or out of place, like no one could understand such Idealism. And even though I'm independant and strong, inside sometimes I feel fragile and delicate...and the world seems too harsh, coarse and ugly to withstand.

Having mixed feelings this morning about posting the poems. Well, just hope they didn't cause more sadness, pix. Just, if there was any chance to let you know you're not alone...it's worth it to me, to expose my soul in such a way.

Hang in there, Sweetie, and keep talking when you need to.

hello future
Good for you!! Yeah, Jupiter grants bountiful blessings to those who BELIEVE.

You know, I thought of this afterwards, and don't know how I missed it at the time, but I have a male friend with those exact sign placements! Virgo Sun, Aries Moon and Scorp rising, right?
He's completely different in every way it seems from my husband. Very spiritual and evolved...intellectual and Loving. Although sorry, but being a platonic friendship, I couldn't elaborate on the more juicier info, lol....but YES! ... he's married to a Sagittarian Woman.

I've been meaning to get back to what you said about Sagittarians being different in Love than what you read.
I agree. What are your thoughts on that?
You first?

hey, Acoustic!

Hello, Lialei!

How interesting that your friend has the same placements, and is with a Sag woman!

First of all, what you said here:

quote:
Jupiter grants bountiful blessings to those who BELIEVE.

You couldn't be more right. I've found that Jupiter loves those with real, true faith, and will deliver.

Now to the love question...

I think there are a lot of differences between the stereotypical sag girl in love and the real sag girl in love.

I suppose I could start by saying that I find many sag girls to be more scorpionic in their relationships than the typical description would allow for. And I'm not talking about cusp girls, who may be more likely to have planets in the previous sign... I mean even myself, and I have nothing in Scorpio except Uranus.

Pondering this, though... Uranus is the planet of "friendship" and a Sag needs friendship on which to build a relationship. I wonder if there are any generational characteristics that could be found here depending where Uranus may be found in a chart. Follow me? Hmmm...

pix

well, will promise to take it slow and easy if you prefer! With all of our combined Sag/Leo Fire I won't promise it won't pick up real fast though.

let's see if my nerdy paste works now.

Interesting thoughts, future. Not sure about the generational significance of Uranus, but definately feel the effects of it transiting my Sun right now. But yes, definately friendship is so important for a Sagittarian in Love. I think the reasons are needing the respect of being on an equal wavelength in all ways and also the trust that comes with being friends and being able to talk to each other and be ourselves with each other. To know the other is confiding in us private parts of themself that they have kept hidden away truly means a lot to us and sends our hearts flying.

"Sag woman more Scorpionic in Love"
yes! That's it exactly. Would have mentioned the more passionate and intense side of Sag, but not made that connection.
Very cool.

Yeah, in Love I don't think we take it lightly when we truly have fallen at all as they make it sound we do. It fills our entire Being in an overwhelming way. Perhaps without the single-minded obsessiveness of Scorpio, although the potential for that is there too, but more in Jupiterian ways of expansion rather than the Plutionian ways of Contraction. Make sense at all?

Linda did touch on it a bit, about how Sagittarians are far more sensitive than people think. Sentimental and Romantic too.
I think we have been given a bad rap when it comes to loyalty and dependability. Just because our interests are numerous and varied, doesn't mean we don't keep that Love within us at the same time wherever other things take us. Being dual and versatile, we can balance things well, I think.

I believe in Love we follow our Intuitions and Heart more than anything else. We're much more intune to our Intuitions and Feelings than is ever written about. Don't you think?
Cerebral is a part of us, but we're never just one thing or another. We're both cerebral and emotional. If fact...think of any one thing and we're the other thing too.
Always both.

It's cool to hear from a Sag without Scorp influences feeling this way too. Have often wondered if stuff I read about Sags doesn't fit right with me might be because I have a Scorpio and major Venus and Neptune influences. Any other Sagittarians out there feel this way too?

You nailed it right here:

quote:
We're much more intune to our Intuitions and Feelings than is ever written about

I've never understood this. They write us off as being so carefree when it comes to love. I know that I can be downright obsessive when I want to. And possessive. And jealous! Oh, yeah... definitely jealous.

The weird thing about that is that I also have a need for honesty... too much of it. I want to know about past relationships and sexual encounters. I want the details. I want to know. My boyfriend and I have been talking about this the last few days.

He, like many, feels that what is in the past is in the past, and to taint our relationship with old information is counterproductive.

My need to know is so that I can gain a better understanding of him. I want to know everywhere he's been... even if I don't like to hear it. I want to know what has made him fall in love, even if he's evolved to a point where those things would no longer have that effect on him.

He's been alive for 29 years, and I've shared only a small fraction of that with him. But in my mind, those years don't just disappear! Of course he's grown and changed. When I know where he's been, it makes me feel like I've been there, too. It helps me understand.

I love him. I want to love all of him. I don't like some of the things I know. Some of the things hurt. But I know that is only an illusion... he didn't know me when he did those things. They had nothing to do with me. My hurt shows me I care about him, the choices he's made, the pains he's endured, the ways that he's grown throughout his life.

I know his life didn't begin with me. I think for almost anyone if you dig deeply enough, that information can kind of sting a little in certain ways. That's why people tend to refrain from sharing these details with their lovers.

I would never in a million years use any of that information against him, which I suppose is one of the big fears in sharing. But opening up to each other this way puts a lot more meaning into everything that happens with us.

When I kiss him, I'm not just kissing the guy I'm in love with, who's in love with me. I'm kissing a guy who has fallen in love before, who's had his heart broken, and who's had enough faith to try again... with me!

Awwww... my little Virgo honey is asleep on the couch! (Crashed out to CSI.) I adore him!

This Virgo-Scorpio-Aries thing is quite the thrill! I find this to be a very ineteresting combo. He also has that stellium in Libra... strong earth, water, fire, and air. I love it!

I'm gushing... check in with me in a week when my aqua Venus is playing elusive again!

Like sitting by a fire on the beach with sounds of the sea in your ear, and a fresh ocean breeze filling your lungs.

All the elements are nice together.
