Finally at 40 I met the man of my dreams, the smell the touch, the sex, the closeness, but my gem wish washes and backs away after extreme closeness and is scared to commit. He has had inappropraite relationships in the past and has made some costly mistakes, and my aries ex (4/6/58) after 4 1/2 years still daily professes love and tries to do things for me, I do not allow him to, nor do i lead him on.. My gem...hard to know how he feels or if he wants to commit, one minute yes, next minute dont know, and then i have to play his don't call game, then he's back hot on the trail. What to do? I want my gem forever, but I also dont want to be alone forever waiting for this guy to figure things out. He professes to love me but backs off with this hot cold gig, and to be honest, i am used to being treated like a queen, shopping trips, pampering, special things, my gem is one in a million, so i overlook those material things that he doesn't come thru on, and know that it is real what we have, will he figure this out? My aries figured things out too late, hence the ex., but ALWAYS came thru on the shopping, queenly treatment, always knew my comfort was utmost important. I am not a spoiled person, i just like nice things, and am very generous myself with special little things...some advise please....thanks. IP: Logged |

My advice is, if you haven't already, start dating other guys in the meantime. A little uncertainty and mystery is okay at times. For most guys, I give it a month or 2 weeks after a few meetings. After that if nothing happens, I cut things off and move on.Good Luck  IP: Logged |
