Moon Square Mars - one of the most difficult and emotionally explosive of all comparative aspects. Moon person tends to be impatient with what they considers their partner's weak, indecisive, lazy, and materialistic nature. The Mars partner is often hurt and resentful of what they considers their partner's insensitivity. There is a general lack of domestic harmony with in this relationship and there are often emotional misunderstandings. The Moon partner may also consider the Mars partner rude, overbearing, and crude in social behavior. This aspect generally indicates clashes and angry emotional scenes. It is very unfavorable for close intimate relationships.

... no, it's not that bad or, at least, it is not impossible. My husband has Mars square Moon natally and, he and I share the exact placement of Moon, which means that his Mars squares my Moon too. What Lanny has given, about the aspect, is definitly true and, this aspect can be disruptive but, ultimately, it's up to, how those involved, deal with it... hubby and, I just celebrated 13 years together, on the 12th... In my own experience, with this aspect, it has served as more of a push to grow.

Are the planetary characteristics around the right way here? Does Lanny mean that the MARS person tends to be impatient, and the MOON partner is often hurt, etc..?

Anyone have any experience or suggestions to handle such an aspect? Any happy tales?

Oh P.S. My soul sister and I share this aspect...in fact our charts are LADEN with oppositions and squares...Overflowing practically! But, there is nothing but endless harmony and love between us..the rare time we have "words" we recover immediately. (the secret? A few energizing, loving "positive" aspects, and the desire to rise above the negativity. As Linda says: "If it was negative, then it didn't happen-except in the world of illusion.) I'm sure with lovers there are different dimensions added to this aspect, but there you have it...
