Much as I dislike headgames, I am fond of the thrills and chills of the intial pursuit. I have been this way as long as I can remember. When a guy seemed unreachable, I was all the more intrigued. Once I had their interest, my interest would vanish. It wasn't to be coy, it just always worked out that way. When my fancy remained, I'd get bored quickly. Their was only one who managed to keep me oon my toes, an Aquarius of course. Just when I thought I'd have it all figured, he'd spring a new trick on me. The vibes of hot and cold, yet he had my full attention. IP: Logged |

The chase is great. Winning someone too quickly is really no fun at all. But I always wonder why so many of us need that struggle at the beginning. Sometimes I feel that we're testing ourselves and our feelings just to make sure we really want it. Sometimes I think we feel we don't deserve something unless we've struggled for it. Sometimes I think that we feel that thing just isn't valuable unless it was fought for. Then there's the whole "not wanting to be a part of a club that would have me as a memeber" thing. They're attracted to you too and suddenly you think "wait a minute- why?" It's probably some combination of all of those in different shares within us all. Then there's just the fun of it.I think Scorpios are great at keeping a lover on their toes. *sigh* Got to play the game. IP: Logged |

Scorpios don't like to chase so ya it's good to be chased and well we take one step ahead in love and 2 steps behind. ALways trying to know a person till we give ourself all. No wonder all love to chase Scorpios. IP: Logged |

Whiterabbit, I like your pondering...I'm thinking about this. Interesting phenomenon, isn't it? Because it is true... if I like someone then find out they like me back it does seem a bit... like I was aiming too low, I guess. In writing it sounds shallow, but I think most of this is subconscious. *off to ponder some more* Great food for thought! IP: Logged |
