Topic: Do you ever notice your moon/ascendant?

My moon is in Cappy and my Asc. is Cancer.Today, Cappy is totally in charge, and she's sort of bashing on the Lioness. She's telling me to get up off my tush, get some things done and organized, be more selfrespecting, be more respectful and grateful towards others and mainly, quit being such a self-centered teenager, and get back to doing for others, because this behavior isnt fitting for a person such as myself. Ouch say the Lion and the Crab! We're sorry! Ouch! But Cappy is right. And I am so grateful to have such a strong moon, who can shout louder than I can roar. If I am ever going to evolve, it's going to take some self-control on my part. And a little more selflessness. It's so nice to have a forum to talk about this stuff with. I have a hard time identifying w/ my sco ascendant, unless of course I am angry; but then I also have Aries Merc, so that may account for my caustic tongue...I do, however, identify w/ my cancer moon especially around the time my mother nature visits...lol...I have an excellent memory, almost like an idiot savant....Some of the things I recall is absolute nonsense; weird facts, numbers, dates, conversations, and especially books I read...And, of corse I am quite emotional and stubborn..my chart is so water filled someone asked me once if I made sloshing noises when I walked....now there's an image for ya...  spellbound IP: Logged |

Oh, I completely notice my Aqua Moon, all the time...usually when I find myself over-analyzing whatever I'm feeling.My Cap Sun, of course, thinks this is just dandy most of the time...cos feelings are messy. IP: Logged |

LeoLys, you have the same Sun, moon and ascendant as Arnold Schwarzenegger LOL. I definitely notice my moon. Its a singleton and the ruler of my chart. I have flashing lightbulb moments and I can be an original thinker, I'm very aloof and undemonstrative, and I'm really, really weird when no one is watching. As for my cancer rising, I know I'm nothing like a cancer at all. NOTHING like one, but most people would see me as one, since I look, talk and walk like one. And I get flustered really easily too.IP: Logged |

I usually identify myself as an Aries since it's my moon and it's an outlet for my bucket chart so it's practically the ruler of my chart. I'm pretty impulsive, at the very least.But a lot of people have commented that I'm a lot like Aquarius, which is my rising, whether they have knowledge in astrology or not. That is, I'm unpredictable, detached, and basically just plain weird. Funny thing is, nobody has ever said, "You're so Scorpio!" so I guess the influences of my moon and rising override the sun. ------------------

Cool thread My Gemini sun and moon are in cahoots and gang up on my Cappy ascendent! Cappy: "Behave you two. Act your age! Don't make a spectacle of yourselves! What will people think?"
Gem: "Yah boo shucks! We don't care... we wanna play!" It's hard to integrate the two energies. A lot of the inhibition is internalised and I definitely don't project a Cappy facade except for appearance. Still have the Gem mannerisms (fidgitting etc.) IP: Logged |

Libra Sun/Pisces Moon/Leo AscAnalytical Scaly and Emotional Fishees are always trying to disconnect each other from the action.....the Lioness is just along for the ride and to growl at anyone who gets cheeky  And off we go on our merry way, flinging Sunshine over all and sundry, whether they want it or not.....
