BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT!WoW! Shut me right up I can tell you! Thanks for the recommendation Love. Everyones in there and the power dynamics of relationships are explained in a way that gives you the power...to respect one another. Most important of all to respect yourself whatever you are feeling in ANY relationship. I don't cry EVER. I did this time, and 7 months on can see why that crappy ending with the Crab went the way it did. Taken responsibility for my stuff and not for what wasn't. Also now should be able to gauge where I'm at in future relationships and if I'm veering in the wrong direction or they are. Highly recommended and fun to read (where it doesn't tear your heart out that is). Swerve

I bought this off Amazon......Ordered it months ago but never received it. Also went to local used bookstores, but could not find it. Anyone know a good (and RELIABLE!) way to order it?

Swerve ~ Are you talking about "The Passion Paradox" by Dean C. Delis? If you are, that book is very helpful indeed. It puts new perspective on relationships and talks about the balance/imbalance of power and how we give our power away and/or use it within our romantic relationships. I read it a few years ago and I found it a very good addition to my library. If anyone else in interested I have left 2 links below where you can order used copies.Love http://dogbert.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?bx=off&sts=t&ds=30&bi=0&y=12&tn=%22The+Passion+Paradox%22&x=60&sortby=2 http://search.barnesandnoble.com/used/productMatches.asp?z=y&PEAN=9780553057881&newDisc=0&page=%2Fbooksearch%2Fresults%2Easp&wbflg=N IP: Logged |

Ahhhhh ~ I searched and I see it's the same book but it has been re-titled now as The Passion Trap. The original(The Passion Paradox) was published in 1990 and this one (The Passion Trap) was published in 2002. So there you go. Same book, same author, different name. So don't judge the book by its cover - hahaha.Love IP: Logged |

Wow, its looks a quite enlightening and interesting book. I would like to read it sometime. But unfortunately I'm not allowed to buy from the internet. I guess I'll find it in some bookstore or something. Thanks swerve! This could be really helpful! ------------------ Don't go to bed angry. Stay up and fight! IP: Logged |

hey swerve. I was wondering if you could post a short excerpt from the book so I could get a basic idea of how the book is or if I would be able to read it. Normally amazon has it, but can you post one? you or love.. it doesn't have to be revealing. It could be one of the paragraphs from the Introduction or something.thanks ------------------ Don't go to bed angry. Stay up and fight! IP: Logged |

Yes, please, Swerve or someone, that would be great to have an excerpt. I went to Barnes & Noble and they were going to have to order it in, and I delayed... IP: Logged |
