Hi all.I find it very interesting sometimes in life when you meet someone whom you are supposed to be astrologically compatible with and yet no sparks can be seen flying between the two of you.Does compatibility,or rather, the big BANG have to do with timing as well? Say we had met 3 or 4 years ago, would the sparks have flown then? I am a Sag sun with Aries-Taurus cusp on the ascendant and moon in cancer. She is Leo-virgo cusp sun with cancer moon. Yes,I have to admit, the conversations do flow easily but I feel like she is a little too laid back whereas I am combative. The other day we had an argument(or atleast I thought it was) and then she called me later on to say that she was hoping I could accompany her to a well to do function(what!!!!!!).Funny enough though I didn't expect a Leo to thaw so quickly and was dumbfounded as I thought that I was the one who behaved like an idiot and deserved a littel silent treatment for wounding her pride. Anywho,we left holding hands to this fuction and she had me basically chained to her side throughout the night. The realtionship is progressing peacefully like it idealistically should(boring!). I wanna get to the fights, the tug of wars, the pushing and pulling. All that stuff:the crux of the relationship. I can't help feeling so restless as we've been together for barely two weeks and I feel like we are an old married couple. She is so submissive and subservient(I reckon she has Libra rising)and I get so agitated with her unwillingness to fall out of line. Despite all this though,I am quite happy with her but what can I do to get more out of her?I didn't know Leo's could be like this:so content,so Taurean-like. Or maybe I am the problem? Most of my past relationship came with a lot of strain and adjustments-never smooth- thatI expect love to come like a big bang and while most often times it doesn't? Has anyone been with a Leo with Libra rising because I am stumped? She honestly is the "perfect girlfriend" its nauseating.

Seems that after 2 weeks she is probably still on her best behavior!!! I mean, how much push and pull can there be? You barely know each other yet. I would just continue to try and dig deeper in knowing one another...But if there is no spark whatsoever, I'm not sure you can create that...sometimes I think it's just good old fashioned chemistry... and you have it or you don't. I don't think I'd choose to date someone simply because your charts looked great together... I think astrology is a gage and I don't think you should let a good OR bad chart synastry dictate how you THINK you should be feeling... Good luck, Scarlett IP: Logged |

Interesting give an update. I for one do not like too many conjunctions. It makes things very flat and lazy. And I do not do well with people who have an identical MOON.IP: Logged |

Hello, Sparks/chemistry and compatibility is not the same thing. You may have fantastic chemistry with someone, but when it wears of, than one may find out that there is no compatibility at all, and vice versa. They say that often the chemistry is very potent when there are hard aspects between Venus and Mars, especially the opposition and conjunction (square, occassionaly), which I find to be true. Too many trines, conjunctions, sextiles = not too much chemistry, but good compatibility. I noticed that the best is to have really good aspects between basic personality planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Ascendant), and than to have one or two oppositions (but no more than this), a few squares, couple of strong conjunctions, and several other trines and sextiles. This means that personalities (Sun, Moon, ASC) will be compatible and in tune, but hard aspects beween say Venus and Mars will give that excitement and friction called chemistry. I did often notice one major opposition (it could be Sun-Moon, or Venus-Pluto, or Venus-Mars, etc), combined with other aspects, in couples that have this big chemistry, but also good compatibility, too. I also agree with Lillygirl that too many conjunctiona and perhaps the same moon (and same Sun, I think) is a bit too comfortable, bit too smooth. These are only my observations from my looking and lots of friends' and family couples I know, it is not the rule by any means.
