Hi!
I read that a soul mate is a person that you´ve known in lifetimes before, and it will be always a friend, one of your parents, a brother, a sister...but never your lover.
Twin souls will always be lovers because they are one same soul torn in two.
Twin souls will never be relatives beceuse there is sexual atraction between them.
Let´s say, on the other hand, that soul mates are relatives of a souls group in universe...so, one soul of this group is torn and this way, when they come to earth,
torn, they are twin souls.

I have several books on this subject. True soulmates are much more common than the twin soul. Just about everyone that you've had a deep connection with in your life can be considered a soul mate.

Twin souls are far more rare. The idea of the twin soul, is literally your "other half." Most of us will not meet our twin soul in this lifetime. Some of us will, but many times the connection will be so powerful that it will actually frighten one of the partners away. The karma from our past lives determines when we'll meet our twin souls. Many believe that you only meet them in the flesh when you have healed all of the negative karma and are in your final life on earth. An "old soul."

well than, most couples are not twin souls it would seem. maybe something a little less intense..but more so than a soul mate...that kind of binds their souls?

if you get what I mean.

When your sources say "other half" or "twin" does that mean someone with your opposite characteristics or someone who is the same as you? Twin seems to suggest the same. But then what is different? The gender or physical appearance only? Or does your twin soul look just like you? Were you incarnated at the same time after you were torn apart?
When I first read love signs I was intrigued by the idea of Twin Souls but I haven't found any good information on the idea since, so I sometimes view it as just a lovely thought.
I know I have "Soul Mates" because I have a group of people that I just loved for no reason almost the minute I met them, and even though some of us are separated for years, every time we meet again we are very happy together as a group and we all acknowledge our love for each other. I meet other people and I really enjoy knowing many of them, but the connection is not usually the same. I haven't figured out the astrological connection there yet either.
If anyone has any good sources or more information, I would love to hear about them.
