Hello! This is my 3rd post and I thought I'd introduce myself! My name is Liz and I live in Finland, northern Europe. I've been interested in astrology for years, starting in childhood and became a serious hobby in my early 20's (I'm 33 now, born Feb 21st 1973).

This post concerns about this new man I've been dating for a few weeks, he's a virgo with aquarius moon, quite a combination, eh? I think we have wonderful synastry, his moon in aqua is conjunct my venus in my DC, his venus in Leo is conjunct my ASC, his mars is in Gemini making a nice trine to my venus and moon/uranus conjunction in libra, and his mercury conjuncts my moon. I've really started to fall for this guy, but a virgo man is something of an enigma, and especially with an aquarius moon he is something I've never met before, like a secret I need to solve ;-) May sound silly but my curious Pisces mind is so haunted by this guy! I really hope this could become something serious...

Any comments on opposite signs in synastry? Our suns are not in opposition, his sun is opposite my mercury though.

My boyfriend is a pisces and I'm a virgo... we go really well together.. he's my other half But we both have water moons, which helps balance out the opposition. I think that opposite signs can be very attracted to each other.

I thought I'd chime in on this, as I have a lot of experience with the whole virgo/pisces interaction.

It's magical, to say the least...at least from where I am sitting. It didn't start out that way, of course. In the beginning, getting used to the overwhelming attraction and feelings was quite tiring and confusing.

You hit the nail right on the head when you said Virgo men are somewhat of an enigma. LOL. I could not agree with you more. But I think us fish are very well equipped and identify very easily with being ellusive or hard to pin down. That is where a lot of the beauty lies. The joy of trying to figure someone out, learning things about them that other people do not notice or care to see, and finding out that those same qualities are qualities that you lack.

But there are so many qualities that virogs and pisces share, as well. They are both signs of service. They are both compassionate and self-sacrificing. But virgos are in their head, constantly analyzing their actions and thoughts, while pisces filter things through their emotions. Pisces definately needs an earthy type...someone to hold their feet while they disappear into the vast scenery of their daydreams and emotions. Virgos are very capable at giving their dreams a proper launch. Pisces on the other hand, give themselves and accept others effortlessly. Virogs have difficulty with emotions. It is definately a give-give, win-win situation.

It seems that you have a lot of great synastry: emotion, communication, attraction. Do you guys have any Saturn aspects? My virgo's sun/Saturn is exactly opposite my sun and conj my NN. It's definately a relationship where I have learned many things.

Good luck to you. I'm kind of shooting from the hip here. But honestly, I could go on for days. I love the polarity of pisces/virgos and I think when proper balance and harmony is found it is one of the most beautiful, creative, and magical unions...but again, I am a bit biased. Of course, it's not all roses and pixie dust. It is work and requires a lot of patience on both sides. Patience with him and his aloof nature, placing value in everything concrete (which is not a bad thing)..and patience on his part to see that your daydreams and emotional nature serve the same purpose as his never-tiring thoughts.

Good luck to you!!!

Thank you so much for your replies, Blue Eyes and Spellbound!
I don't know this exact time of birth yet (he doesn't know it and has promised to ask his mother the next time he sees her) so I am very curious to know if my planets are in any aspect to his angles! I have a hunch that he might have Virgo ASC as well, so my sun would be in his 7th house.

We do have some saturn contacts, an exact inconjunct between my sun and his saturn, his mars conjunct my saturn (I know, quite heavy but I believe that there has to be challenging and "bad" aspects as well for the relationship to grow, and ain't Saturn the teacher?!)

We had a magical date last night, and he promised to come with me to this art exhibition opening night tonight, I am SO excited to be around this man, it's unbelievable, there's a lot of chemistry between us but we're taking it easy and I love the feeling of waiting and getting to know him better (ok, my lusty mars in Cap can be a little impatient at times, lol).

I am Pisces and I have had and been attracted/attractive to more Virgo men then any other sign.. I know at least 7 virgo men..

I have a 7 year old with a Virgo man. They are not real hard to figure out atleast not for me. The moon Sign plays a major part in learning them. A water moon is great..Air or fire Yeeee look out..

Those guys are hard to pin down. Eventually though they melt right into us.

Good luck!!!

Wow, Goldmund, this guy sounds exactly like a virgo friend of mine I used to have more than friendly feelings towards. Well atleast they have the same sun, moon, venus and mars.... I don't know his birthtime is either, but I think it is fitting for him to have cappy ascending although I could be wrong.
These are his placements:
Sun - Virgo
Moon - Aquarius
Mercury - Libra
Venus - Leo
Mars - Gemini
Jupiter - Aries
Saturn - Leo
Uranus - Scorpio
Neptune - Sagittarius
Pluto - Libra
True Node - Scorpio

I haven't met anyone else like him. He is very intelligent, but also very modest. He is the first to put himself down, but he has so many qualities I just haven't seen in anyone else. He loves solving problems and can be quite intense when trying to figure something out. He has a unique humour, which can verge on dark sometimes but he is very good natured towards people. Talented writer. Very private person and also sensitive. I could go on and on, but that's the general gist.

Anyway I agree with the others pisces and virgo can be one of the most magical combinations. If anything it teaches both sides different things about themselves they never knew before. Good luck

Iam a pisces with a virgo moon...

and ive been surrounded by them, it seems like forever!

My dads a virgo, my first good friend (boy) was a virgo, my first star carze was on a virgo star and my ideal guy is also a virgo.

In the interim ive had virgo love's/friends with the below combinations:

- Virgo with aquarian moon - very intense person but very confused emotionally abt friendship and love. He tried to see if our love cld be turned only to friendship but failed and we grew far apart but still in touch.
- Virgo with aquarian moon 2 - soon after the above...he was too scared and shy of admitting his feelings. He used to flash in and out, sometimes sweet, sometimes curt, sometimes hurt but he could never declare anything so we grew apart...
- Cancer with Virgo moon (almost same actually). Oh Gooooood! THE most emotional combination....u will never be able to be anything but emotional with these dudes! It couldnt work out between us so we said bye but i can still never forget his haunted look...and he never even wanted to be reminded of me again...which meant he did remember me still.
Virgo with capricorn moon - Very sweet and caring and concerend....maybe too concerend. But the cappy moon mae him too conservative and conventional which i didnt like. We were just friends but any virgos can never be just friends with me. We were attracted to each other and i hated the fact that he never told me so and so it wasnt an honest relashionship. Still in touch but rarely.
- Virgo with libra moon - A v casual attraction (its instinctive for me to attract virgos!)He was very attracted to me. Wld gape like a dunce! But we havent got to know each other much. Maybe in the future.
- Virgo with Scorpio moon - We hit it off SO suddenly and there was such a 'flow' to the friendship that it was amazing! We are really good friends because he seems to be an extremely mature man who's like a lone flier but again very caring, extremely loyal and very analytical - virgo intensified with scorpio. Sometimes it feels like love but i never know!
- Saggitarian guy with Virgo moon - My extremely good friend with the peppiness of a sag and the loyalty and caring of a virgo. He's a true ladies man. makes a woman feel like one. I mean we are missing such guys these days...!
- Virgo sun and cancer moon - Iam zapped. This is the recent one and hes the most intense and moody thing around. He will not let us be just friends or co workers. He HAS to have only a love relashionship. Asked me to go out with him a couple of times but i didnt so hes taken it personally and acts like ive done him the worst wrong.....but he still helps me out in my work!Very silent, v moody, very soft and very strange!
And last but not least - My dad a Virgo - Have been bought up as a virgo's kid gives its benefits only in the later years....he understands any sensible decisions and give them too. To top it all hes the most caring person ive ever ever seen!Maybe its the psychological dad hangup i have makes me go only for virgos!

All said and done, no matter where a virgos moon is, there are certain common factors i have seen with them. Moreover having a virgo moon myself makes me understand them.

Theyre very very loyal, deovouted in fact. Takes them ages to forget someone who has touched their heart (not many ppl will and virgos never go for false praise. They can see right through it!). Theyre basically very emotional creatures, analysing everything minutely incl all actions and emotions and cant express!!What comes out is something very curt or very intense...they would love not to obsess on things but thats them!
Very Shy, very dedicated and that purity and virginity aspect does come in since they would go for someone only when they are 100 percent sure and then would wait for the person for ages...even if committed to another partner!
They will organise everything for you...in a way they are true men since they have that worry of unorganisation. Team that with all that care they have for you, well you know who to go to for tax filing and returns!
Gems when you are ill or in trouble.
Extremely shrewd officially.Theyve read everyone and have an opinion on whom to trust and not to.
Its funny but maybe saggitarians old get along v well with virgo's since 'Openness' is what attracts a virgo...
All the virgo's ive mentioned have gone for extremely open and bubbly girls (Iam one! )...maybe becuse they need someone to lighten them up becuse theyre always thinking!
Whatever it is....Good luck with virgo's....theyre really the sweetest of zodiac signs....esp the men!perfect hubbies!
Am not married but hope it would be to a virgo or cancer!

Yes Sara9 I know about them all. There has been two Virgo's that has stayed in my life for a long time one is my lil one's dad he's the Virgo/Gem and he has mars in Aqua he was a hard nut to crack. BUT it was not until I became unavailable he was able to regain vision. We are still friends. Then there is a Virgo/Can guy that I have been knowing for like 20 plus something years. He is just how you described your Virgo/Can friend to be. Very sweet and sensitive. He has Mars in Leo Which also opposes my Venus but he has alot of Libra in him his Venus and Merc so that soft side is there. Now my Step dad is a Virgo also very sweet man and very, very, intelligent, I do know what you are talking about totally with these Virgo men..

Theyre truly the sweetest of men and v sensitive at heart!!
Mama Mia u seem to have almost as much experiance with virgo's as me and that too u being a pisces...wow! I truly think theres nothing opposite abt pisces and virgos really. Maybe they can control the dream element but theyre so emotional that they dream anyways...
Theyre extremely intense people i can say that. If youve won virgo love then well...u deserve a reward since they truly are perfectionists as far as genuinity and innocence is concerned.
Oh i cld go on and on....

I am so hapy with this man I can't even believe it's true, he's definitely the best thing ever happened to me. I am not so studious or experienced in this art.But i worked upon my intuition i can quote this much 2 +ve always have a fricton. As far as your future releationship is concern look towards moon's motion what do you think although it effect water but really it make a impact over fish for a long time.Astrology does not mean that what you are calculating that is very right nature is unpredictable stay cool and look for new dimension of your thought.

I know what you mean about the pisces virgo polarity pull. I'm a pisces and I got sucked in by a virgo male too!

He's very charming and can be gentle in his mannerisms and witty2 but holds alittle back which just makes him even more irrestable!
