Here goes, thanks to anyone who reads my post - it's fairly long.....

Hi,

I’m an Aries man and I've recently split with Taurus Guy, there is an 11 year age gap between us ( I'm 29 years of age and he's 40) He is also Physically larger than me and some might say the Dominant partner.

I heard that Taurus men take a long time to commit and the Aries / Taurus relationship is about getting the balance of 'fast Aries' and 'slow Taurus' right.

Basically how compatible as lovers would we have been, even though the relationship has officially ended, is it worth thinking that it may come back at a later date....or just forget the whole thing and concentrate on being friends...and is that possible....

...how should I proceed with this...

HIS details are:

Rising Sign is in 16 Degrees Leo
Sun is in 14 Degrees Taurus.
Moon is in 22 Degrees Scorpio.
Mercury is in 23 Degrees Aries
Venus is in 00 Degrees Aries
Mars is in 13 Degrees Taurus
Jupiter is in 29 Degrees Gemini
Saturn is in 26 Degrees Pisces

MY Details are:

Rising Sign is in 27 Degrees Leo
Sun is in 18 Degrees Aries
Moon is in 19 Degrees Sagittarius
Mercury is in 07 Degrees Taurus
Venus is in 14 Degrees Aries
Mars is in 15 Degrees Pisces
Jupiter is in 00 Degrees Gemini
Saturn is in 09 Degrees Leo

Any help with this would be great.

ps - This is the 2nd partnership I've had with a Taurus Guy and they both have upset me both times.

pps - we still plan on going on a Camping trip in a weekend in the beginning of Sept 06 – should I go…..

Hi bungee,

...and welcome!

well, it would help a great deal if you posted your data on ASTROLOGY forum, and the details as in date of birth, time and towns/cities so others can help you with synastry. You can also check these website out in the meantime...
www.astro.com
(create an account and put both your data and check out the charts and synastry) www.cafeastrology.com (this is mainly for interpretation)

I edited to add something, being friends with your ex is your decision, astrology can only guide us, but we have the free-will even if the stars and charts tell us that we are "soul mates". How you feel is more important than what the charts say especially if you say that your last Taurus EXs left you with a bitter feeling. Hope you find what you are looking for.

best,

If there was a split, it's best to be friends. If things change it will take some time. As for a camping trip there should be no problem unless there was intimacy between you before (hugging, kissing) if so then that's too frustrating.

and I'm a Taurus. I wouldn't suggest such a thing unless I really wanted to be just friends.

If he is the dominant partner then it's best to be patient-

His Saturn in Pisces suggests a more light hearted approach to relationships. He needs a friends first approach so stop thinking about being lovers;>

It really sounds to me as if he is trying to "stomp out the flames" to get his feelings under control. This way he can be more objective about the relationship and feel stronger.

Earth types do this very often and it's part of becoming mature about the relationship.

hi,

thanks for the replies - it has been good advice and quite grounded.

i have also checked out the links posted and they are good.

It's been good to read about relationships and identify aspects about me and him.

I just hope that we can build a solid friendship, and also that this camping trip goes ahead and doesnt leave me feeling worse off.

A pained Aries stung by a Taurus......
