When I first met my Aqua man he was all over me and now although he's always cuddling me and planting kisses on me it seems like he's sort of uncomfortable with anything resembling passion or demonstration of emotions.

If I try and initiate anything, he'll almost shy away and goes all coy and formal. It's not an outright rebuff as such but he kind of wriggles out of things. It's not doing wonders for my confidence I can tell you!

Yep Mama it's you and me hand in hand and weathering the many storms of relationships with Aqua men! You'd think by now I'd be used to it but somehow I still allow it the power to get under my skin

Hi lucky1 (great name btw!) I know just how you feel and you've no doubt seen the myriad of threads on LL devoted to relationships with Aqua men... fathoming them out takes up quite a bit of bandwidth around here and no mistake!

They're always going to present you with the unexpected and the unfathomable from time to time. Their responses, behaviour, reactions, emotions, thought processes and approach is almost entirely alien to so many of us that it's like trying to learn a completely new language with only half the guide book and no sign of an Aqua/English dictionary!
