and,

Logically, Its a foolish thing to discriminate someone or something in terms of their chronological age, and not in terms of what they've learned from others experiences. If you make a mistake and learn from it, it was worth while making. If someone else makes a mistake, and you learn from it, your immune from that fault. "And" also, its not appropriate to leave messages like this:

quote:
what the hell? this thread is disgusting. its amazing how much interesting FACTS get dilluted by little children(they know who im talking about).

Not appropriate, especially not for your age, and you know another thing, i'm not stupid, and even though you didn't say it, that post on my thread "America The Tyranny:The Road to Authoritarianism" speaks for itself. You need to grow up, and stop trying to falsly "rat out" a person who is younger than you, but smarter than you, (if you leave a post like that, which is something I would never do to anyone, you simply aren't of the intellectual calibre that I am). You've underestimated my intuition, and you've tried, anonymously, to break me, and the reality is you can't, and *sighs* I know that irritates you, but theres nothing one can do if they don't have personal strength.

"And", you can continue trying to talk to me with a thousand words if you please, but that doesn't mean i'm trying to listen. And even if you do speak, theres nothing more of value that you could say, because i've said all.

Hey neptune5 I understand you have some stuff to work out with other members...and trust me I do not want to have anything to do with it...only could you please think twice before starting a thread like this in the SOUL UNIONS section of the forum? I'm sure such a thread would be more appropriate elsewhere. Most of us come to the Soul Unions forum to discuss just that-soul unions, twin souls, love, etc.

Thanks,

I never thought I was a busy body but... oh, guess I am haha.

Yeah, I agree with TMC, what the heck is a topic like this doing in Soul Unions. Or 'doing' anywhere at all??

I can't judge what your argument's about, since i wasn't on that thread. But what gives you the right to be so condescending to someone and immature enough to try and get the last word by going "theres nothing more of value that you could say, because i've said all."

If you were of the "intellectual calibre" you say, you wouldn't start topics with the intention of belittling other people in order to feel righteous. You also wouldn't need to say so, because people of true intellect don't convey themselves with the pomposity and paranoia you do.

Oh bugger I've just barged in on an argument. Oh well. If you don't want people to barge in you shouldn't publicise your issues in a public forum. Sorry.
But this has no place in a forum for Love

Hmmmm.

I've just read one of Tinasparkle's posts which relates a bit to what you're both talking about.
Well. neptune5, I did not realise you were 15 or 16 or something. But I am also 16 myself. Whereas i stand by the "don't conduct yourself in this way" opinion, to avoid being hypercritical, i should point out I too had given advice on relationship topics when i hadn't had a real relationship either. Although i liked to point out my advice was just from a kid i couldn't resist trying to stick my oar in.
But I do like and a lot. I know what she means.

There's some advice i could learn from myself here and I've often been told- not too be too condescending to people older than you. I do it sometimes and it's an awful trait. I should stop.

Anyway. Yeah. So I'll but out your argument now.

Hi Mutual,

My goodness, I never would have imagine that you are only 15. I think we naturally conjure up images of those we are communicating with on these boards and I would have thought you to be perhaps 30-35. I was shocked to know that I am in fact nearly twice your age. You have provided me with very helpful advice on several occasions and you are obviously wise beyond your years.

Sometimes wisdom is nothing really to do with age....

Some people are clueless at 90 and some very wised up at 15...as we know!!!!

Metaphors AG.. or should I post the definition for you?

met·a·phor (mt-fôr, -fr) Pronunciation Key
n.
A figure of speech in which a word or phrase that ordinarily designates one thing is used to designate another, thus making an implicit comparison, as in “a sea of troubles” or “All the world's a stage” (Shakespeare).
One thing conceived as representing another; a symbol: “Hollywood has always been an irresistible, prefabricated metaphor for the crass, the materialistic, the shallow, and the craven” (Neal Gabler).

_____________________________

Intellect can also never be "sharp" in the sense that it can cut you to draw blood but we use that metaphor all the time to distinguish between an idiot and someone with sense now don't we?

Neptune,

You have been placed in a certain category based on some of your writings in GU. If you don't automatically disagree with the conservatives you are placed in a group where certain individuals will call you immature, stupid, know-it-all and other such wonderful terms.

There are only a couple of people that have posted on this thread that have much of value to contribute (other than newbies that really don't understand the undercurrent). Funny how someone used your age against you when in actuality she was pointing fingers at several of us that are quite a bit older than her. If we want to pull posts from the past back that makes us look immature, I know a certain someone that was chasing a Sag boy to the point of looking like a stalker.

In any case, you should hang in there - don't let some of your peers make you feel as though you are condescending especially when I KNOW them to be just that.

Should anyone here have a disagreement with what I said, be prepared because I am neither afraid, sharp as a spoon nor 15 years of age.

Talk about ganging up on someone - several of you should be ashamed of yourselves especially since only recently did one of you have "that first kiss".

and,

my goodness, there is no need to start trailing conflicts and divert the attention to someone else when this thread is about you. Pidaua is only being honest, and It distresses me to say it, but despite your age, your words and actions have displayed a difficulty to accept reality. Not the reality you try to create for yourself, but the reality of which is and always will be. And earlier you posted that I act like I'm 5? and I'm immature? I truly believe you've shown who has those traits. People who have personal strength don't go around accusing others of being envious, which is childish to say in the least. And Most importantly intelligent people don't randomly try to start verbal conflict while the message fixed upon them has been a statement of truth. I believe you've made it clear to everyone, and, you need spiritual growth. And, please, don't believe that this post of mine is aimed at you to "put you down" in some kind of way. Because I believe in your astrological knowledge and your very accurate, with lots of original things to say, but please, if you have any sense at all, you'll take this message into consideration, without confrontation.

oh "and" we already know what you are. Trying to pretend that I am somehow worse is a big joke. Funny how you would indicate Neptune shouldn't put her thread here, yet weren't you one of the people that backs LMoon and DayDreamer's racism thread that was maliciously placed on FFA?

Oh wait.. maybe that was your alter ego - it's much easier to beat up on a 15 year old isn't it "and". Trust me, she can defend herself and I am sure put you in your place twice over, but you seem to have some of your little buddies here defending you- so there ya go.

Too funny....

oh, and, I honestly do justify the fact that I am inexperienced and unenlightened about certain topics and situations in life, but on the subject of maturity (of which you talked on in a previous post) I would have thought you knew astrologically that I am virgo rising 8 degrees with pallas(goddess of wisdom) conjunct my AC. Gemini & Virgo Ascendants are the only 2 AC signs that look at the world through adult eyes because they are ruled by Mercury. And i'm 5th house capricorn cusp with Saturn located in the 5th, which explains that I do take life more seriously than the average person and quite the reason why my synastry/astrological composites with older men were particularly nice.

I doubt you'll find much support for that viewpoint, but, hey, if you do let me know.

I don't think a single position in a chart will make your synastry with anyone particularly nice.

AG........

Actually Venus conjunct Saturn makes one prone to wanting a relationship with an older person.

I actually had a Gemini best friend with a Virgo rising that I used to tease about being an 80 year old woman trapped in a 25year old body. She hated that- but it was better than call her Rosie because she sort of looked like Rosie O'Donnell. LOL.....

I have gemini asc and I would say I'm more childish than anything. Mmm, perhaps childish is the wrong word. I'll go with youthful. Lol.

I look young, look at the world with wonder and awe (like a child I guess) and I tend to change my mind and go off on a completely different tangent every 5 minutes.

Gemini asc looking at the world through adult eyes? No way, not I. Curious eyes? Definately.

Acoustic God,

thank you so for your observations, but its not just a single position, I may be asking about a single position, but theres so much more, especially with the Davisons I have, and I said earlier, it has to do with the age difference because of my 5th house Capcricorn cusp with saturn in 5th (thats double the effect).

And also Acoustic God, please, don't quote me on that viewpoint about Gemini & Virgo Rising, because I was not the one who originally stated it. The acclaimed astrologer Jeanne Avery, member of the American Federation of Astrologers and the International Transactional Analysis Association wrote this in her book:

"The Rising Sign: Your Astrological Mask"

The 1st paragraph on page 187 in the Virgo Rising section, states "These mental rising signs have a similar outlook on life in that they view the world through "adult" eyes, but Gemini is an air sign and Virgo and earth sign..."
