This is a spiritual site I agree, but this is all in fun and not intended to hurt anyone, unlike somethings that have been posted from ppl that I have seen...Here is where us women are bonding and getting along which is a good thing..Ladies carry on if you like I hope this thread reaches high in numbers..We are just shooting the breeze and not intending to hurt anyone..If you think after you read the first few post that you will be offended then I suggest you stop..Reading.. :-)

I'm thinking about MARRIAGE (again!!!) and KIDS!! (which I never thought I would - okay, well maybe the fun bits, not the giving-birth bits) as opposed to just sex, because I find it impossible to have a really proper orgasm unless I'm in a committed relationship and love the guy, and know he loves me. So that's putting something of a dampener on my sex life at the moment - for me, it can't just be about sexaul attraction because my brain gets likewise screwed, in a not-very-nice way. Partly I also feel this way because I'm trying to work out exactly what I can do with my business - what exactly I want to do as a human being - and that's taking up considerable acres of thinking space. Strange, with three planets in Pisces too (Moon, Venus and Jupiter). LOL. An acquaintance of mine keeps extolling the virtues of sex toys over men...well, given that she sees a man as a chauffeur to ferry her around/provide, and nothing else, fair enough - if that works for her - I pity whichever poor bugger takes up with her. Too cold, for my way of thinking; I'm after Looooooove. IP: Logged |

Thanks MommaAries! Here to entertain! LOL...I do hope this thread keeps going...I've had a lot of fun!Natural & Xena - Actually, I'm with you guys for the most part when it comes to toys. There are a few things I like to try, but I definitely don't go crazy...AIN'T NOTHIN LIKE THE REAL THANG BA-BAY!!!! However, when you're single, it never hurts to have a "little buddy" to keep you company on cold nights! And believe me Natural, there are plenty of "small toys" that are discreet and un-intimidating that you could start with. And speaking of expanding sexual fulfillment...let's talk "background music." Now, I may be a bit of a late bloomer on this, and this could just be a matter of taste, but may I just say that Joss Stone's cd "Mind, Body & Soul" is some serious KICK AS* AWESOME mood music!!!! Holy moly!!! My pisces turned me on to her - literally...lol...man did it get me revved up! Yeah, I went out and bought the cd the next day. So, my advice for today ladies, if you want to spice things up a bit, toss out the Al Green (too over-played), pop in some Joss Stone in the ipod or the cd player and...GIDDYYYYYUP!!!! Yeeee Haw! RIDE 'EM COWGIRLS!!!!! IP: Logged |

CrankyCap, don't go tossin out Al Green yet! This weekend my Aqua and I stayed in a hotel at a casino and in the bar they had a greeeat cover band playing Temptations, Barry White, Marvin Gaye. It was oh so sexy. It was like we were the only 2 in the room. Maybe it was the atmosphere of it all....Sitting in a dim lit room, across from each other, his hands on my knees, beautiful conversation, stealing kisses. Being so turned on by the closeness, the music and the great company got us revved up! *sign* why can't it be Saturday again??...anyway, if PDA doesn't bother you, thats what I suggest. ------------------ "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget the way you made them feel." -the great, Maya Angelou IP: Logged |

LOL...don't you worry baby, I won't! Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Al Green, Etta James...I LUUUUV that stuff!!! This girl's got soul! Motown is some of my favorite music. Just thought I'd throw Joss Stone out there for somethin' different. She's old school though...so much power and soul in her voice! Seriously...give her a try! IP: Logged |

I've got her CD but listened to it during the end of a relationship. I bet if I play it again, this time around it will trigger something else. Have you tried KT Tunstall? She's known for "Big Black Horse (In a Cherry Tree)" but the 5th song after that one on the CD...ooooowwwiee! That one makes me wanna dance all seductively. heh heh------------------ "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget the way you made them feel." -the great, Maya Angelou IP: Logged |

Nope, MamaMia...not a "sista," but like I said, I've definitely got soul in me somewhere! I just love that kind of music, and it really puts me in the mood. I like a lot of reggae too...LOVE Bob Marley!MommaAries - I was just talking to a girl I work with about her. I'll have to check out that CD too... IP: Logged |

I agree with Mama Mia and think that this is a really important dialog, even the sex toys portion. As women, we are given so little information about sex and are not exactly encouraged to ask questions. We are left to our own devices to figure things out and that can be very intimidating. I think an open dialog about sex is key to a healthy sexual identity. But that's just my two cents.Tinasparkle

haha nope I'm not a sista either. I'm a 6' tall white girl lol I just love me some beautiful music (whither I hear it or make it ). I love any kind of music so long as I can sing along to it or dance to it. Country, hip hop, soul, easy listening, rock, oh yes and reggae as well! I love Bob and Damian Marley! I don't care! I love it all ------------------ "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget the way you made them feel." -the great, Maya Angelou IP: Logged |

Well I haven't had any for 9 months and frankly I don't miss it one bit. My switch has been turned to the OFF position and I'm not sure if it is stuck now. But of course not being in a relationship does it to me and I'm not one to go rush relationships cause I have got to get some. I figure a cappy 8th with mars in it shows the attitude.......ID IP: Logged |

InnerDepths~~ I'm right there with you. Well, I was at the 6 month mark... got desperate and went out, got plastered and brought someone home (never do that anymore) and it was a waste! A one-minute man! So, really, I'm essentially now at like the 7-8 month mark of a drought! LOL I figure I'm on my way to regaining back my virginity at this point!! LOL IP: Logged |
