Topic: leo or pisces please i really could use the help

I was deeply involved in a relationship that I can only identify as intense with a pisces man. We had so much in common and at times we finished each others sentences and almost could predict what was going to happen next. We were connected very strongly, the only thing that made our relationship come to a screeching halt was his addiction to alchol he refused to stop. I even said that if he couldnt and wouldnt stop if he could be humble and comprise by not drinking when we were together. He refused and has called me once since the argument. I am a aquarius and naturally curious of why he would do this he said he loved me and promised me the moon we even planned a marriage for 5 years from now and a tarot reader said we would be married and have one child together after he heard this he was exstatic.It is really puzzling why he didnt want to change. The breakup happened a week before the holiday, while having thanksgiving with my family i had the privlige to spend time with a leo i have always been attracted to we went out last friday and i really had a great time, but he lives in Arizona and i'm in California. what can i do to fix the last relationship? can it be mended? or how do i foster a new relationship with the leo?
confused and in need of a helping hand

14I am a Pisces female and the first thing I will tell you about Pisces is that they often delve into the drink---not so much as an "escape" perse' but to color their world. I choose to color my world with a built-in pair of technicolored glasses, but the Pisces often has quite the affinity for drink and drug, or other various forms of "alteration." Pisces and Aquarius has quite a natural draw to eachother....there is much on this forum about that subject!  The next thing I will tell you and the most important thing is that YOU CAN NOT CHANGE AN ALCOHOLIC!!!!!!!!! Especially if they do not want to change! I was married to a horribly addicted-to-alcohol man for 21 years and it was living hell. I suffer from PTSD from the abuse I allowed myself to be subjected to due to his alcoholism----It is SO not worth it! No mater how much you like the guy, it is not worth your emotional health! Alcoholsim is a cry for help, and is a symptom of a much deeper problem---Pisces or not, if the guy drinks too much for you then that should be all that you need! Blessings Terri IP: Logged |

terri......  Until he gets healed of his addiction....stay away. You are a young woman of 18...go and live and have fun...dont take on the burdens of an addict. I have been around alcoholics and drug addicts and they have drained the life out of me...and they were just friends... My husband is a very moderate man, but when he was going through a rough patch, he was smoking dope every night...it caused a huge distance between us....I couldnt "feel" him. He has told me since that it wrecked his head...he felt numb and heavy whilst doing it! You will be dragged down by this guy, if he refuses to heal... Be careful and look after YOU!! IP: Logged |

I just noticed you said the pisces guy is 32......I know a guy, a friend of my hubbies who is an addict. He is 50. He is a brilliant guy....an intellectual who could have gone on to do brilliant things. He smokes a lot....he has bags of the stuff all over the house.... He looks and acts like an old man....apathetic and has a sense of "resignation" about him... His girfriend of 3 years has just left him because she was sick of living in a "cloud" of smoke. He is a Pisces....lovely guy, but has wasted his life cos he couldnt kick the habit. God bless him..

14BTW---I have an 18 year old daughter and I absolutely could not respect ANY 32 year old man who would enter into a relationship with her!!! Especially an addict!! Regardless of your emotional maturity, there is a thing called RESPECT, and it is highly disrespectful to you for him to presume marriage in 5 years or an intimate encounter..especially given his addiction problems!!!! Steer clear----- I am NOT having a good feeling about this one. Terri

Thank You all for your input. I have just been feeling so low and confused a little disconnected from my usual concrete life. it helps to hear advice from others. What are the odds between an Aquarius and a Leo? IP: Logged |
