hi .. just read what youv'e wrote ..
at the mo. i've got to take off ..
but .. my initial ithought was ..

take it slow 'n easy .. use your caution ..
get to suss whether the g/f 'blues' story is 100 percent genuine ..
if he is true to his sun .. he'll prob. be ultimately faithful to his lady .. to the end ..
although if things are realy realy bad at 'home' and he ~ really really ~ wants wants ~
.. then straying is no doubt a potential ..
depends what personal values he holds

anyhow re the office communications etc ..
venus in gem folk flit about in a sense .. between others ..
it doesn't mean nec. in the bedroom .. but they are normaly quite sociable
( prev. had long term gf. with gem venus )
other note: merc taur can take forever to think about serious stuff ..
but can also have rather a one trak mind in a sense

yes .. fire certainly facinates earth ..

but .. re: the way Your feeling ..
in astro terms your under the influence of a Saturn transit ..
nataly you have Urns and Lillith at a close 'square' aspect ..
transiting Saturn is influencing that particular aspect in your chart ..
transiting Saturn has now gone retrograde ..
which means in 'transiting' terms it's moving Back over ..
1 .. to conjoin your natal Lillith and 2 .. to square natal Urns ..
( prev. time was Sept.2006 when Sat was direct ..)
so those 'feelings' have been around a while i would have thought ..

they build up and ebb away with the planet's moving influence ..
so now it's 'building up' again by retro movement ..

i think you will find many folks having to deal with t.Sat going retrograde ..
.. that influence should be gone from your chart after .. March 2007 ..
.. 'cause it goes 'direct' in april ..

: Saturn Dates :
.. 6th Dec 2006 .. .. turned retro at 25.04 Leo
.. 20th April 2007 .. .. turns direct at 18.09 Leo

.. i've not looked at mr.t's chart yet btw ..
u could post them (the charts) in the astro forum 'n see what comes back :-)
.. maybe dig up whatever info u can re the 'fire' ~ 'earth' relationship in astro. terms ..

re: the taurean guy ..

for him right now .. he has his first Saturn return .. i.e. transiting Saturn conjunct natal Saturn
also t.Pluto is .. and has been for some time .. opposing his natal Venus ..

also at the moment t.Lillith is 1 .. squaring his natal Jupiter .. 2 .. conjoining his n.node

re his Saturn in Leo return .. due to Sat doing a 'direct .. retro .. direct dance ..
( october'06 .. december'06 by retro movement .. then july'07 .. are the sat.~conj~sat. peak months ) .. that transit is quite extended ..

if you research those three transits .. it will give you some idea what may be driving him at the moment .. transiting Sat often brings a life lesson .. in the form of an opportunity ..
feelings in the 'love' department will be deep and intense with that on-going Pluto opposite Venus transit ..
.. giving pluto a 10 deg orb .. then that transit has been on the up-build since begining 2004
no doubt t.Lillith is having her effect as well :-))) ...
Lillith transits last about a week ~ peak time ~ .. she does not go retrograde ..

(post edit ) .. just noticed .. transiting Chiron is squaring his natal Chiron .. and has been since may 2005 ..

how that is efecting his 'home' life and relationships is anybody's guess ..
be as much as i can tell you re his chart for now ..

a few aspects stand out ..

Saturn in Leo squares his Sun in Taurus ..

Uranus in Scorpio squares his Mars in Leo ..

(natal mars and saturn are 5 deg apart in leo)
those two aspects make up a virtual T-Square

transiting Saturn has been working over that t-square aprox since july '06

i don't think any human being could answer that with a yes or a no :-)))
regarding feelings of something being 'fated' .. this is just my personal view .. ( .. untill i know better :-) .. )
transits from the very outer planets can easily give the impression of something ' feeling' .. as if fate is at work ..
as can certain synastry aspects .. .. as far as the transits are concerned .. i just see it as a transit 'effect' to ones emotions that gives the 'impression' of 'fate' .. .. to take it to some very extreme i'm sure hitler , bin-laden , pol pot . stalin etc etc .. felt as if they were fated in some way .. and acted upon it ..

well looking at the synastry ( inter-aspects between two charts ) its easy to see connections .. some very nice aspects to each others suns .. can see why you would get along with each other .. so it probably is mutual in that respect ..

well .. in a sense that's you looking at it thru the perspective of that saturn transit .. once that has passed .. the scary insecure feelings should pass as well .. for the most part ..

ok .. i just had another look at your chart with the transits .. seems i missed this one ..

transiting Chiron is squaring your natal Chiron ... so the scary insecure feelings can easily be a product of that transit as well ...
that one .. is effecting both charts as your natal Chirons are only 1.5 deg apart ..
good news is that chiron seems to speed up soon and move past it's current point and doesn't realy come back to hit on your respective natal Chiron placements ..
.. it has a bit of an odd cycle does Chiron .. it can hang about a position for months on end .. ( actually its been near its current position for the past 18 month aprox. .. ) then zip off in a burst of speed .. it must have a very eliptical orbit ...

anhowz .. both Chiron and Saturn .. by harsh (or otherwise) transit .. hit everyone at somestage .. if one makes it to 28 then one will experience all the Saturn transit aspects to ones chart ( as it has a 28 yrs cycle ) .. and Chiron has a 51 year cycle .. .. both Saturn and Chiron transits .. i guess you could say they are part of the growing up process ..
i can't exactly tell you about the lillith uranian connection in your chart .. i.e. what transiting Saturn is working on ..

i would suggest doing some research about what Chiron is in the natal chart .. ( just try 'googling' 'n see what comes up in a search) .. and how a Chiron transit might feel .. i.e search for interps to a chiron transit .. .. astro.com has a few articles on that .. ... come to think of it .. just googling 'chiron' should bring up a fair few links to sort thru ..

so *Saturn and *Chiron .. .. effecting both your charts .. research .. it will help you two as friends to understand what you both may be going thru .. .. .. also remember he has the Saturn Return by transit .. so google that as well .. .. and again remember .. anyone who lives to a certain age will have to deal with those two transiting planets .. .. like it or not :-)))

.. yer way ahead of me btw .. i didn't have a clue about Chiron .. nataly or by transit .. until i had the Chiron return .. i.e when it's gone one full cycle around the zodiac wheel .. it didn't feel too good at the time :-)) ... ... and observing the relationship posts around LL .. well chiron sure seems to play a big part in relationship department .. in fact i would go as far to say that chiron transits could 'feel' worse on an emotional level .. i.e more so than saturn transits
and .. Lillith seems to play a major role as well .. in the sexual-romance attraction department .. .. and also it relationship 'fall-outs' .. and 'fall-ins' .. :-)) .. .. Lillith .. to me in anycase .. seems to have both a 'cheeky' and 'angry' side ..

ok .. just my view again .. but .. keep an eye on your transits via astro.com .. and Observe ..
e.g. if you feel a cetain feeling welling up .. just check what transit you may have for that day .. or the upcoming days ..
it's the short transits that will show up ( e.g. those of mars .. merc .. venus ) .. mainly that is what showed me that astrology actualy works .. .. i noticed that certain Mars transits had me feeling somewhat tempermental (~understatement~) .. basicly i would 'feel' something .. and Only then check the transits .. so there would be no 'pre-suggestion' possibility .. .. so over time i began to notice certain things thru looking at my own transits and those of friends and associates .. .. and you've got roughly a ten year head start on me ;-)) .. i.e. i didn't start looking in to it 'till i was about 37 .. before that .. all i knew about taurus is that they evidently like good food .. and one or two other good things :-)))

oh .. and .. btw .. i think linda goodman in one of her books .. explained how the 'following' sign has an innate understanding of the 'preceding' sign .. so taur. understands aries .. having already lived thru being an aries sun .. (theoretical 'incarnation' talk) ..
and .. .. gemini will understand taur .. cancer the geminis .. leo the cancerians .. etc etc .. (till u end up with aries and pisces)

btw: i've yet to look at either chart with birthtime .. but .. when i do .. if anything major is showing up .. e.g. transits to the moons and ascendant etc .. shall pop in a note ..

another btw: :-) .. .. the outer planet transits can also feel like a clock ticking .. in other words they tend to make one aware of one's age .. that in itself can feel a bit scary insecure etc .. methinks both transiting chiron and saturn can have that effect ..
