After my fantasy vs reality thread in this forum I wondered what would happen when we saw one another again, especially since I made him promise to leave me alone cos i didn't want to do casual anymore with anyone. Of course I didn't tell him I wanted to get serious with him either! Gee I'm confusing! Lol!

Anyway, my mother came down for xmas and we went out for a drink with a few friends. Thought pisces-boy would play our usual ridiculous game of ignoring one another but he didn't. He walked up to me in front of my mum, said merry xmas and gave me a big kiss on the cheek. I mumbled merry xmas and he went again. I didn't know what to say I was so surprised especially as I was standing with my mother and the entire place was full of people.

Later on he came up again to have a chat and I introduced him to my mum, we parted again and I sent him a text message asking him to come have a drink with me. He didn't reply so I text again asking if he wasn't talking to me again. Sounds so childish and ridiculous I know.

Mum and I had just gotten home when my phone rang and he apologised for not replying, he'd only just gotten my messages. He said "I thought you didn't want to see me anymore?" and I mumbled "well yeah, I do, but nah" Duh, how silly am I? We chatted and he sounded so excited to hear from me, he told me exactly where he was going to be for xmas lunch and dinner and wanted to catch up.

Xmas afternoon he text again and wanted to see me. I couldn't but we chatted anyway and kept txting all boxing day too. He's been very sweet, kinda romantic and just plain lovely. We didn't see one another xmas, then he went away for new years but we still kept in contact. He txt me this afternoon and wanted to see me. He was willing to come all the way to my house but wouldn't because my kids are home. He hasn't met them yet.

He's very traditional and old fashioned and is finally pursuing me in that 'courting' type way. I felt funny that he wouldn't come over tonight but then I realised that he really is VERY traditional about the big stuff and wants to meet them in a different situation if/when we've sorted out exactly where we're headed. I don't mind that we are very slowly starting something because knowing him I've come to realise that he's taking this very seriously. We have had fun in the past that wasn't serious (for him) and I think he fought with himself over his feelings for so long because he is so very straight and traditional and us as a couple definately wouldn't be!

I never knew men who were so proper and traditional actually existed anymore. I tend to take risks but he really doesn't, with anything. Thats why it means so much that he is taking this 'courting' very seriously and making the steps in the order they need to be made. If that makes sense, I'm really tired now! Sorry!
