-Love is blind, dumb, stupid and insane! It appears in the strangest of places and can endure the unthinkable and unreasonable. It can also fall apart from the breeze of a feather.-Love can be pure, selfish, giving, greedy, kind and nasty. But the only love that counts (I believe) is pure, unselfish and unconditional. -Having children changes your idea of love, it can't be imagined until its experienced. -Love can seem irrational when its not reciprocated, but it exists none the less and who's to say its any less real? -Love is truly wanting happiness for another although it crushes and breaks your heart to see it. -Love is trusting someone completely when all evidence screams out to the contrary.-Learning to overcome that fear and put your heart and soul on the line is love. The more you fear to lose and actually put out there the more you can possible gain which is better than living with regrets (I'm struggling so hard with this right now, but I believe these words completely). -Love is accepting someone warts and all and learning to accept the differences without trying to change them because what would be left of who you fell in love with? -Love is growing together and not being stuck fixed and rigid. Love is fluid like a cool, clear mountain stream; forever changing and moving but still beautiful. IP: Logged |

-Love is expressed differently by people, just because someone doesn't express it the same way as me doesn't mean they love me any less.-Sometimes you just can't even stand the sight of the one you love. -I feed the ones I love, friends included. -You can love a friend warts and all that would never be tolerated in a partner. -You can love a partner warts and all that would never be tolerated in a friend. -You don't have to like a family member to love them (took me ages to admit to that one!) -Love can fade but what was true never really dies. -People mistake lust, companionship and all sorts of things for love. -I've learnt I can love unconditionally and universally, humans do horrible things to one another but I still love and have great hope for humanity. -My dog smiles at me with love in her eyes even if I forget to feed her and stand on her tail. -To learn to love yourself sometimes you have to look at yourself through other people's eyes. I can be my own worst critic, yet he's seen me at my lowest and experienced the very meanest parts of me and still thinks I'm perfect.-Words truly don't mean much, the truth is told by the eyes if you're willing to accept it. -Love is letting go of all preconceived notions and ideas of how things should be. Love can be painful.
One must love themselves first.
You must give love in order to receive it.
Love is forgiveness.
Love is acceptance.
Love is NEVER giving up.
Love is understanding.
Love is selfless.
Love is helping and caring.
Love is hard to define.
Love will make you cry and smile at once.
You can love everyone if you allow yourself.
You can love your enemys and heartbreakers with every part of your broken heart!
and my most important learning experience,
sometimes you are dreaming about that perfect love experience while it is starring you in the face! I love Love

Those were some great thoughts...I thought I'll chip in with some of mine...
This is wot I learnt and am still learning abt love...Love is opening a part of u to someone u know he can hurt...
Love is accepting the other person unconditionally,
Love is being totally honest with the other person, always,
Love is having the capacity to allow differences and even enjoy them,
Love is about understanding ur individual roles and never comparing them,
Love is believing in urself and in God,
Love is being at peace with everything around you,
Love is about knowing when is the time to hold on and when is the time to let go, bcz sometimes letting go can be as important as holding on,
Love is being there for each other, no matter what,
Love is knowing wot the other person needs, even if that person might not know it... IP: Logged |
