Does anyone have an opinion about composite sun's...as in whats more important - the sign that it is in or the house?

I've read that composite sun's in water signs are always nice in a personal relationship, but what about something like gemini or saggitarian? Does that indicate that a relationship will not have any emotional depth? Any opinions?

I unfortunatly do not know, but I believe that both the house AND the sign have significant meaning. And the sun in Gem or Sag doesn't necessarily mean that there won't be any emotional depth; look at the moon. The sun is how you ACT together, or your personality, alter ego, etc: what the sun typically symbolizes. Like I said, look at the moon, neptune, pluto, mars and venus; aspects between mars and venus are always good, 'cause if they're trine or conjunct there will typically be smooth sailing, but even if they're square or opposed, although there may be arguements, there will also be increased attraction. Hope this could help. ^_^ Take care, and good luck!

Hmmm..what about if Sun and Asc. are in the same house.Our Asc. is Cancer W/ both the Sun and Venus there.Well,we both ARE emotional,though neither of us has a water Sun or Venus in our natals.I guess we will be nurturing to each other.We've yet to have an argument.I think that the house and sign of the Comp. Sun are equally important.You have to look at everything and how it all interacts.

in our composite,the sun/Asc/venus are in Virgo ( not very romantic), and the moon( 8th) is in Cancer, as well as the node of the moon(11th)
Mercury/mars/saturn/pluto are in Libra, and neptune/uranus are in Sag.

There´s no connection between venus/mars;
Moon opposes mercury and mars,but trines uranus and sextiles kiron.

There are a lot of nice kiron aspects: trines sun/mercury/mars; sextiles moon and ascendant and conjuncts MC.
BUT the one i like most is the venus/sun in conjunction in the 1st house
