Have you done your synastry? You need the full birth information for each person (date, time, and location). Although Sun sign is very important, an easy connection between Suns is by no means necessary for a good relationship. For a successful, long-term relationship, you would probably want aspects involving each other's Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Venus, Mars, Saturn, and Pluto. House placement is another thing to consider. If you haven't checked your synastry yet, a great site to do that at is astro.com. But keep in mind, this won't give you a precise Moon placement and you won't know any house placements.

Libra and Taurus are both ruled by Venus so that probably helps with compatibility. I wonder what's caused your recent onslaught of Taurus suitors. I'm not knowledgeable about transits, but maybe someone who is will have some ideas about that.
