Go to www.astro.com and check out both of your whole charts...that'll help a lot to find what's compatible between you, and to make the relationship work, you can focus on the compatible parts.General thoughts--as a (female) Leo--here are some things Leos like about Tauruses:
-you're good at really paying attention to us and listening to us while we talk
-you make us delicious food
-and compliment us, but thoughtfully, without sucking up
-you are loyal and honest
-you give us nice presents
-we respect your sense of style
-you are comforting to hang out with In a fixed-fixed relationship, both parties need to watch out for being too stubborn! A Leo and Taurus can stay at loggerheads for ages and ages. Don't be passive-aggressive or agressive with your Leo--if you have something to say to him, say it kindly and compassionately and don't let things fester. It's important for both of you fixed folks to keep emotional communication open, and not expect the other to read your mind. If you approach conflicts with honesty and love, you should be okay. Welcome mjc! My mom and dad had this combination. They were together for 30 years, but my dad (Leo) just passed away last year. My mom misses him every day. I don't think she truly realized how important he was to her until he was gone, but then again, I don't think any of us do. He was her best friend and she was his biggest fan without a doubt.BUT, that's not to say that there weren't any problems. Like Lucia said, two fixed signs are bound to butt heads. Also, I don't think my parents were great at communication with one another. My dad was a bit selfish as far as material things go...my mom was selfish with her affection. I always thought if my dad showed his appreciation a little more...(i.e., bought her a pair of earrings once in a while, took her to a nice dinner), she would have given him more of the open affection and adoration that he craved...hugs, kisses, etc. I know that they never communicated these things to eachother, and they both often ended up having their feelings hurt. They were both extremely stubborn though (mom is Taurus sun & moon, dad was Leo sun & Aqua moon) so that didn't help. My dad's Aqua moon diluted the romantic Leo streak, and my mom lacks water in her chart so she's not the sensitive, sympathetic type. But it somehow worked for them. My mom used to be afraid to evoke my dad's nasty temper, but he was a fire sign, so he would EXPLODE...and then be cracking jokes 10 minutes later. My mom is different, it takes a little longer to push her over the edge, but once you do...she won't forget it for 3 weeks! My brother, sister, and I were always MUCH more terrified of our mom!  Of course, how well this relationship works for you will depend on other factors in your charts. But, if my parents did it, I think anyone can. They had some VERY difficult placements. The fixed signs don't give up easily, so that's a positive too. Just remember to always communicate what you're feeling, and don't allow your stubborn Taurus side to get the best of you and let you brood for days.
