i could go into more depth if asked, but i will try to keep this post very short and sweet. i am a scorpio woman with an aries man.... i know i know....fire/water... anyways, of course we have many many different opinions (in fact we seem to be opposite in almost every way) but we've been together for almost 2 years now and we have actually fought before about moving in together. i would love for us to start creating a home together, and travel together, etc. but he says he's not ready, that we are too young, he's not ready to get married (which i didnt' even mention...) and for the record he has many trust issues, and keeps dreaming that i'll cheat on him. he has also told me he keeps a "wall" up to protect himself and that people who live together always fight. akdf;aldkjfa;dkfj.....so much more, but i can go into detail if asked. my main question though ...is this a "natural" or "instinctive" characteristic for an aries, or perhaps he's "just not that into me"... or more of a spiritual matter for him. which if it is, i (of course) want to break through the wall... ah, it might be fruitless to ask, but any advice would be lovely.

I think Linda Goodman and psychology would say, "instinctive". He knows (well, subconsciously if not consciously) that as an Aries he loses interest when the chase is over, he feels impotent when tied down (which is obviously where he sees this going), and he knows that if he lives with you he will be faced with the REAL girl behind the Princess mask, quite off of your pedestal... possibly (horror of all horrors!) clipping your toenails in his presence. Linda says that in Aries man world Princesses NEVER do that. He may have seen you do some related things, possibly even THAT, and he knows more will be coming once you move in together. He may instinctively want to preserve his attraction, maybe until so much time has gone by... and so many tests of his love (like the toe nails) that he has no doubt that he can sustain it. Otherwise he knows HE WILL CHEAT ON YOU. Psychology calls that projection.  hehe I am being light hearted, so don't convince yourself he is harboring intentions to cheat. It is just subconscious. He must love you and really want it to last or he would just throw himself into the romantic dream and then go ahead and abandon ship when things get too real and the next illusionary plastic perfect princess passes by and gives him a wink.
An Aries who is not just rushing in without thinking? I think you found a nice combination of energies in this man. I think he takes you very seriously and wants to really enjoy getting to know everything about you very slowly to be certain he will not let you down. Luv,

thank you so much for taking the time to post. it actually did reassure me very much. it does sound like him and one of his favorite things to say to me seems to be "you always rush, slow down!" so maybe this is a good thing, especially since i do tend to rush at times, but i was just afraid we would NEVER grow closer. thank you thank you again<3 IP: Logged |

OMG, he has so much aries in his chart! All of it is in his 10th house (probably). His moon might be in his 11th (the natural house of aqua), so he may have some aqua tendencies. I, for one, love aries! Men and women of this sign are my partners in crime. We usually take to one another. I've had more friends of this sign than any other, second only to gemini's. We have this great connection, but it gets more difficult as time goes on, because that's when their selfishness gets really out of control. Besides, a lot of them don't do too great with long-term realtionships. I don't mean they can't have them, they do, but their feelings really fluctuate, and I can't deal with that. My take on aries: They are opinionated, strong, brave, impulsive, idealistic, eager, rash, ambitious, romantic, but can be: selfish, egotistical,changeable (especially in emotions), foolhardy and have bad tempers. They are the baby of the zodiac and they act that way. Babies are oh so cute, and we love them and care for them, but oh, how they cry and wail when they are in need of soemthing and not being coddled! Then, they cry when we coddle them too much - because then we're smothering them - and they get fussy. It's a fine line you have to walk with aries. Pay attention to them and pamper them, but don't smother them. ------------------
