My bf and I are watching a movie on TV where a guy is tempted by another woman. They're kissing and it is *very* steamy, until the guy says he can't go through with it - ie he won't take things any further. So, on one hand, should the guy be commended for not having sex with the other woman, or would you string him up for letting it get as far as the steamy kissing?Personally I would want to rip his head off.  Well, at least that would be my first reaction. After that, I'd be so hurt that he strayed that far, the wounding would be too much and I could never take him back. Taurus sun

Depends on who the guy is and just how much a steamy kiss would mean to him. It also depends on his level of honesty, and how emotionally involved he is/was with the woman. If he didn't like/love her and it was just a one off thing, due to physical attraction, and he told me about it.. I'd have no problem with it. I don't think he should be commended, but neither should he be condemned.
I would commend his honesty in telling me, though. If he either was in love with her, or didn't tell me the story as soon as it happened (so I found out elsewhere), or carried on kissing her/dating her - because he couldn't quit.. I'd break up with him, but I wouldn't be angry - shi*t happens.. I'd stay friends with him - That's probably my 11th Venus/Sun talking. Sun - Aries

The betrayal is in the dishonesty.The Last Kiss is the perfect movie for this subject and one of the best movies of the last 5 years in my opinion. Rent the Zach Braff version if you want the film in English.
