yes, that's exactly how it sounds...

once upon a time, I lived with a Gemini- he even asked me to marry him. Until he could get a better paying job, steal my car, and move to Florida, that is...

suffice to say, I'm a little jaded.

(did I mention this guy dressed like a vampire? d@mn you mid-nighties Crow wanna-bes..)

But this guy is FUN.

So refreshing after 10 years of the brooding-emotionally dysfunctional-melodramatic-self absorbed Leo.

Is it bad that the Leo introduced me to the Gemini?

Egads, my life...

Of course you want to have a crush on a Gemini! Especially if they happen to have a crush on you too. I'm sorry about your bad experience with one of us Gems, but don't let one bad egg, ruin it for future Gems that may come into your life.

One thing is for sure...you will never be bored.

If you want to keep a Gem, don't ever let it get boring, keep them guessing, and don't ever be needy or clingy.

His moon is in Scorpio...

in fact, I have his whole chart, because he thinks its "the coolest thing ever" that I am into astrology.

I may need help on this one, my friends.

Its a complicated dance we are playing.
But, I would like to add, I have done none of the "astrological stalking" that those of us in the know are wont to do.
Yes, I am tempted to.

Did I mention I am about 11 years older than he is?

I had a week-long crush/interest on a Gem/Scorp man. And then I got over it. But if your Gem/Scorp was anything like "my" Gem/Scorp, then I can totally understand your interest and reticence. I say pursue it, but only in your spare time.

I would analyze his entire chart first, personally. My mum dated a Gemini for 8 eight years so I'm a bit jaded against them, too, plus they're traditionally the best liars of the Zodiac as evinced my one of my Gemini friends. That's the main problem I have with them, but go for it if you're up for an adventurous ride! ^_^ Good luck!

In our defense, I don't think we are liars, although Geminis do bend the truth from time to time, but in harmless ways like saying I picked up the drycleaning already, if I'm on my way to actually go do it. I've never cheated or deceived anyone in my life, and I am Gemini Sun/Moon/Mercury.

I personally think it is all in the upbringing.

Hi MK,

I think that synastry plays a huge role in the Gemini relationship. I know that I've had friends or have dated Gems that others said they couldn't "put up with" certain things that they did. But my Gem moon understood thier energy and patterns.

Every Gem I dated (with the 2 personalities) will start off with the "good twin" and switch to the "evil twin" at some point. If you're still able to see their good side...even when you're sure it's disappeared forever...they will switch back and be completely devoted.

If you have a Gemini placement, you're more likely to understand this. Otherwise, it's usually viewed as immature behavior. (But, at least in my experience, it's a consistent behavior.) And, again this is only my experience, the "good side" of them is always worth the wait.

Hope this helps,
8th

I haven't much talked to him since the 3 days of...ummm...hanging out.

He makes a point to talk to me- and I have avoided him (because of job reasons) since.

AG- I liked the videos on of Elbow. I am intrigued.

I have been so burned in the past by pursuing men that I adamantly refuse to now. But how I am supposed to respond to someone who says to me "I know when you are in the room because I can smell you" ??!?

It means nothing, right? Coming from a Gemini... he's just a flirt...

I feel like a high school girl.

My experience with a Gemini man was bitter-sweet.

From the day we met until we parted ways a few years later I know he was in love with me, faithful, and committed but he was never tied down.

Let me explain. . . For years we were an on-again/off-again couple but in his eyes we were together. It was hard for me to understand how deeply he felt for me and was present in our relationship when he seemed to want so much freedom.

Looking back I'm certain he just assumed that I somehow knew that his need for adventure and freedom was independent of his feelings for me. Everytime he had to go off on his own for a while he didn't stop loving me or feeling happy with what we had. He just needed 'space' as he said.

I think in his eyes he was 'taken', 'with someone', 'off the market', etc. because in his heart yes he was, but he still needed to have full freedom to live his life without fear he was answering to anyone else.

Everyone we knew could account for the fact that when we were on 'breaks' he was never interested in other girls it was just his time to have a bit of a breather from our relationship.

It's hard to know how deeply someone feels for you when they want breaks every so often and when I tired of the on-again/off-again I did hook up with a guy friend of mine that had been interested in me for some time. Despite the fact we were not together anymore and HE (Mr.Gemini) had asked for a break from our relationship he reacted as if I had cheated.

That was when I learned that Mr.Gemini was serious when he said he wanted a break but it didn't mean break-up and it didn't mean he didn't love me or wanted to hook up with other people. You always assume when someone wants a break that's what they mean don't you? Turns out sometimes people aren't letting you down gently, they really do just want a little break and then want to come back to what you had.

Because of what we had together he did get past it and he had to accept that I had not cheated when he had asked for a break. If anything it may have made him realise what we had and how much it meant to him. That didn't stop him needing space every now and again though. That may be his Gemini nature.

We lasted another 2 years after that but eventually a girl needs to know she has a boyfriend and not just a guy she has been 'seeing' for years. Everyone assumed we were on our way to getting married and a solid couple (after all those years of exclusively being with each other and not ever being interested in anyone else)but for him it was hard to even committ to being boyfriend and girlfriend.

We are still friends and keep in touch. He still says he will never marry and since we broke up he has not had anyone in his life for more than a first date. . . The reason for this (in his own words) is that he gets 'bored and restless' early on.

SORRY THIS WAS SO LONG!!!

Hey MK,

I got an email today saying that New Order wants to be my friend on MySpace (my band profile). I was surprised to find out it's really them. That's kind of cool.

True, GemGem, I didn't mean to offend you; it's probably just the two Geminis I know. One's actually a child molester who lied about it for several years and the other one lies about travelling and having been the father of children all across the world and such, plus he exxagerates a LOT. Sorry 'bout that; one of my best friends has a Gem Asc, so you're probably right that it's in the upbringing. Take care!

8th moon, that sounds very familiar! lol, I think I actually do that and it probably is a Gemini trait, 'cause I have Venus in Gemini... hmm, I always wondered why I sometimes push my darling away and walk away so he follows me, literally. Maybe it's a combo of Gemini fickleness and Cancer moodiness/shell?

It's ok, no offense taken GypsyDancer1221. I'm sorry you have had those negative experiences with Geminis.

I hope you will meet some great ones that will change your mind about Gems.

Hmmm..

so everyone else keeps telling me that the Gem guy likes me...if it is so, he won't do anything about it.

But he keeps giving me these "looks."

I keep telling myself he has a short attention span- forget it.

He tells me constantly that he loves our conversations. That's probably the highest compliment ever from a double Gemini, eh?

D@mmit, I wish he wasn't so cute.

Yes, him telling you that he loves your conversations together is indeed the highest compliment a Gemini can give.
