They say that without synchronicity 1+1=2 and with synchronicity 1+1=10...

When you pay attention to the details of your life with reverence, you begin to notice how everything fits together. You begin to trust the flow. YOu can also begin to call essences of what you desire into your life in the form of what is best for you as chosen by the Universe (the Highest Wisdom and Highest Intelligence), once you begin to be more aware of this flow.

Some examples of synchronicity in my life - my birthday is 10/10, my first boyfriend, 3/3; his mum a sag 26/11, my parent's anniversary 26/11; his dad 15/06; my later mother-in-law (sort of, we weren't actually married but still...) also was a sag and his dad's b'day 15/06. So by age 20 I was well aware of synchronicity before it was even a popular term.
Also: My first boyfriend was named after his dad and they were referred to by everyone as Big John and Little John, my daughter's first boyfriend was named after his dad and everyone referred to them as Big Bryan and Little Bryan. My first boyfriend's mum's name was Lynda, my daughter's first boyfriend's mum's name? - You guessed it - Lynda! Little Bryan's b'day is 9/11, my best friend's b'day 8/11!!!
I look out for these things all the time now. Of late it has slowed down a little, but it still happens, like the other day I was on the train and thinking about someone who I care about alot who has a rather unusual first name, and when I got to the shopping mall it seems I was seeing his name on every second sign and I'd never noticed it before...

My nana's b-day: June 16, one of my very good friends who I learned loads from, June 16. My best friend from high school, June 15, my stepfather, June 15.

My first love, middle name John. Another boyfriend, named Mark John. Next was Jason Mark, and now am dating another Jason, middle name Alan. First boyfriend, Alan John!! Weird!!

I know, very common names, but it's odd that I would end up dating them when I did. Also, they all have Venus in Virgo or Cancer, usually 6th or 7th house.

".... supposedly, when something impresses itself upon the mind
with enough intensity to be considered a part of Beingness itself
not minor worries .. petty problems
nor trifles of fretting
but something of serious and real concern

the solution to that problem is here for us to learn ...
the answer to that question lies
in the Universal Mind ... infallibly there, to be plucked from the air
imbedded into the ethers, requiring only that one looks
and listens .. for it

for, at the same time the qestion arises
to its greatest pitch of anxiety in the human heart
since all is inter-related

when something is seriously wrong
and one honestly seeks guidance in the matter

it may be found .. threaded through the ribbons
of the lyric of a song
buried in the reporting of the five o'clock News
to arise unexpectedly at the turning of a dial

... perhaps hiding within a chance remark
heard while one is moving through the rushing people traffic
walking along .. or crossing .. a street

... voices discussing an unrelated subject
floating into the ear, in a familiar restaraunt .. from customers
conversing
in a nearby booth
bearing for the aware -- and for the truly listening
some unsuspected truth

sometimes, words dropped by a clerk
a waiter, a waitress -- occasionally a friend
a relative .. an enemy
.. or a stranger

these having no idea they are playing a cosmic part
in the Synchronicity drama, never guessing they're being employed
as channels for a message, symbolically relayed

messages, which, if no one is there, or sufficiently aware
to receive them
remain as pieces of themselves, in the larger puzzle

let those who have eyes -- see
and let those who have ears -- hear

if one opens the eyes to truly see
and opens the ears, to truly hear
the messages coming through
will be startingly clear"
