I was lucky enough to get Sagittarian lessons a few years ago... It seemed like every woman I met was a Sag sun. Wonderful, strong, adventurous, insightful people!!

Really helped me through a difficult time.

To Jo, Crystal, Prof. Tompkins, Anelle...

I am a Sagittarian woman with a Sagittarian brother . I love being an Archer. My brother and I are very different though. He is more sporty, adventurous and I am more brainy. He has played every sport under the sun and camps with his two boys and wife as much as he can. He is married to a Scorpio (He has a Scorp moon) and has a Scorp and Aqua boy....

I am more about books (my college degrees are in Biology and Chemistry with an emphasis in microbiology / communicable diseases). I love researching and giving information whereas my brother is more into family and being protective.... well I am too (aries moon) but I love living life for what it is (as long as I have a plan.. Hee hee.. I am a 4th house sun).

Soooo... do we sound (meaning my brother and I) contradictory? YES.... because EVERY Saggie sees all side and lives every life until we find the one that fits...

Mine fits being with a loving, romantic yet dramatic Leo. .... I am in Germany and loving it big time..

My Saggie brother will be out here in late May.. LOL.. NOT because he just bought a ticket to see me.. BUT typical Saggie style.. he won a scholastic contest that is sending him here for a tour of "Old Germany and the history.. Oh yeah.. I forgot to say.. HE has a Masters in Theology and Geography)..

LOL... Being a Sag rules.. but it is not without having demons... our own little fears that we would rather not ever talk about.

I love Saggie girls and it seems that they love me.

Since the fifth house is potent for fun, love, and sex, I'm sure I get an extra charge from being a Leo Ascendant where my Sagittarius 5th house is concerned. There is very often a great deal of playful sexual energy between myself and Sagittarius girls whether or not anything real develops.

Sag girls are the only women who consistently tell me they "love" me. Too bad all of Saggies' easy free spirited love isn't the type of love I'm looking for, they use the word "love" too loosely for my tastes.

There were only two Sagittarius girls I felt I could keep some semblance of a leash on, one had a Pisces Moon, the other had a Pisces Ascendant.

I want to be a Saggitarian.
They sound like they are having a jolly good time.
If you read the Aqua links, everyone seems to want to take the urn from which we pour the waters of humanity and give us a swift sharp smack around the head with it.

But a Saggitarian with a come day go day free spirit?
Well apparently thats just fine and dandy.

They are successful? They are born lucky?
They can be a free spirit and still be liked.
I want to be one!!
What's their bad points?
They must have some?
Anybody?

Yeah, from a non-sagittarian perspective, I feel Sagittarius is the best sign to be born under.

I love being a Sag and have 4 planets in my chart in Sag: Sun, Asc, Mars & Jupiter. Moon in Aquarius & Mercury in Scorpio.

Many Saggies don't find themselves until later in life as we are so busy searching for that truth early on with life experiences, it just doesn't all make sense until later lol.

I love the fact that I am easy, breezy about most everything, just enough grounded to be practical and deep enough (Merc in Scorp helps) to connect to people and understand in a powerful way.

Interestingly though, I connect best with Scorpio natives and Libras (my Venus and NN are in Libra) and some Virgos.

But what are your bad points?
And outspoken or foot in mouth just doesn't count as a bad point!
There has to be something negative about an Archer?
Doesn't there?
Damn it!! I want to be one.

I'm dumping this urn right now.
Humanity can shift for itself for 5 mins.
My birthday has officially changed to...December 15th!

But we're perfect of course! lol

Hmmmm...let me think about it...

Can be impatient and know-it-alls, but not me of course lol

Can *appear* to be superficial, but that's only because digging down deep and/or focusing on negatives or being petty isn't interesting. Plus, a Sag likes to always be on the go. We do feel. Deeply in fact; and can take some time to trust if our trust is shattered.

What a nice thread.

I'm a Sag and am loaded with bad traits. But after a close, critical analysis of my chart, I've concluded that anything negative about me stems from other things in my chart. In fact, I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say that not only is everything good in me from my Sag Sun, but everything good and beautiful in the universe has its source in Sag energy.

It's a fact.

I mean, the galactic center knows what's up. It could've placed itself in any sign, but which energy did it want pervading the very core of the universe? That it chose Sag oughta tell you everything you need to know right there.

Actually, if you want some negative things, I have noticed that Sags can be insensitive. I know and love many Sag Suns, so I'm not hating on my own sign, but that is something I've noticed. I'm probably just too sensitive though. I have Neptune trine my Moon and conj my Sun, and some of my Sag friends who don't have that can be unknowingly (or knowingly) careless with people's feelings.

That's it Jane! There is no negative and that's the fault.
I mean you can't count insensitivity as a fault. If you read the Aqua threads then we appear to be p*****g just about everyone off with our apparent lack of care for anyones feelings.
And let's be honest, have you ever been on the recieving end of a Scorpionic sting?
Ouch!!

So Sags are perfect (which has to be bloody irritating in itself) and now I have become one. I am rewriting my life history to suit.

I expect good luck is thundering my way as we speak.

O.K now we have established the best sign (that's us Saggs!) which sign is recognised as the worst?
I vote Capricorns.
Oops foot in mouth! See I am becoming more Sag like by the minute!

lol, you assimilate quickly!

About the foot in the mouth thing...I have a very particular brand of that. I don't usually have those moments. I have other things in my chart slowing me down & also keeping me in tune with the way my comments are making the other person feel. But what does happen with me more often than I'd like is that I'll say a double entendre, not realizing the sexual meaning until the words have already left my mouth. Most of my embarrassing moments in life are events of this sort.

This is probably the worst one (I can't believe I'm sharing this, but if you can't open up to a fellow Sag about these things, who can you?). I was meeting the family of a boyfriend for the first time, having dinner at their house. Before dinner, I saw that they owned a ping pong table. During dinner, I asked who liked to play. The mom said she did. I, happy to have found something I had in common with her, said that I also loved to play, that I found it relaxing.

Why didn't I shut up then?

But no, I felt the need to explain what about it relaxed me. I said, "I think it's the rhythmic sound of the ball-slapping."

Goodbye cruel world.

A couple weeks after that happened, I was in the car with the bf, and "Superfreak" went on the radio. We both cracked up at the line, "She's a very freaky girl, the kind you don't take home to mother." I joked with him that next time at dinner, I'd show her the tricks I can do with a ping pong ball.

I sadly, tragically, heartbreakingly have quite a few stories like that. So beware, the Saggie Foot In The Mouth Syndrome can strike in terribly embarrassing ways.

You still want in?

You may have noticed another Sag fault in my last post: lack of attention to details. I'd written that the galactic center is at the center of the universe, when its very name means that its at the center of the galaxy. I think this one wasn't Sag's fault though, but instead my Leo Moon. It considers itself the center of the universe, so of course the galaxy I live in is the center of the universe.

jane!!!

What a fabulous way to start the day. I laughed my Sagg socks off (and if I had the faintest idea how to add the green laughy face I would!)
If that's the worst trait then I am happy to be on board.

Oh my foot in mouth always occurs in arguments where things come out all wrong...but i do tend to laugh it off. But my taurus mum/cancer venus tends not to find it funny....

I don't know why but I kinda get the feeling that you would barely have time to get your foot in your mouth because your Taurus/ Cancer mum would be too busy shoving food down it!

Am I correct? I can almost picture her!!!

Thanks pOllier Oller! Yes I have become more Sagg like since I decided to switch.

Today I stepped in my paint tray and skidded across the floor.

This NEVER happened to me when I was Aquarian.
Cold and Loveless? Yes
Misunderstood by the rest of humanity? Too flippin' right!

But a foot full of Dulux Rich Matt Emulsion in Pure Brilliant White?

Definitely a first!

I'm a Sag, ...Sun in Sag...Moon in Leo...my ascendant is split down the middle between an Aries and Taurus, although I favor Taurus more..

I'm currently married to a Leo..how fitting my lion would sit in as my moon...

=)
