Maybe he is too shy to make the first move?

Well I don't know much about Cancer males but I do know my Pisces man is shy and I had to basically make the first move with him. I think when you see that he is a Cancer sign (which suggests introversion) and that he is attracted to you, a Sagittarius being a confident extroverted sign, this gives more indication that he is the shy type

One more thing. Cancers are defensive and protective so when you met up he was probably doing just that. The alcohol will bring the emotions out in water signs but I wouldn't like to think that this Cancer needed to be away from you before he could express himself emotionally or need to have alcohol before he could. Everyone is different. Not all Cancers are the same just as not all Pisces are the same but you only know him 7 months and thats not long and to know that he could have issues form the past it's probably best to get to know him better and be cautious until he can give you more face to face and sober. Then again use your own intuition on the matter and when you see him

Then go with the flow. If it's meant to be it will. This site is great for learning about human nature! I don't know why everyone is so afraid of getting hurt, it's good for you, you grow out of it, take a chance I say!

if someone can leave that easily, well, let them : )

i dont think thats really fair, i mean some people cant stick around forever, if they do they set up a disturbing psychological pattern within the relationship that isnt healthy for both parties. if you let someone know youre willing to deal with their games for too long, then everything becomes a game, and they continue on because they think you wont leave. i think its only fair to let the other person know how you feel about what is bothering you before you decide to leave, keep open communication, that way if they love you, they can work on it.
