..is when we have come home...

Do you re-late?

A mirror, perhaps...

Years and years upon attracting this and that, and analyzing this synastry and that, what I have come to know is that when we be-gin to attract our Sun sign is when we are most closest to ourselves.

Because then, and only then are we able to be and see us (in) them.......

Thoughts, comments, appreciated.

Blessings...

But this hasn't been the case with me .
the first mutual attarction was with a piscean (that was sooooooo long ago) after that i had strong friendly relations with two cancer ladies .
one of them at that time was barely fifteen , so probably it was one of her first attraction .

in my case , and some others that i have seen people actually start with their own sign .
but yes, one of my libra actually ended up with a libran lady after being with so many others .

Would be weird going out with another Capricorn. I'll keep your theory in mind, though.

I dunno, my 2nd serious relationship(who also ended up being my husband) was with a Pisces. It sure wasn't a match made in heaven.

Not to be difficult, but I think you really are coming home when you attract your Venus sign. When I finally got to a point of knowing what I want in a man, and really figuring out how I love (PiscesSun/GemMoon/AriesAsc/CapVenus makes it tricky! durn airy moon). As soon as I got all that straight and felt really comfy in my skin, knowing that the right man would come along, I met a Capricorn Sun man. My Venus loves his Capricorness, makes me realize that his sun attracts my heart. Make sense?

Wow, willow, your statement:
"makes me realize that his sun attracts my heart"

is really beautiful. :-) My venus is in Pisces but I'm not attracted to piscean men at all. I still love your statement, though.

It`s funny, for years I didn`t like men with my own Sun sign - Sagittarius, even though there were some guys in my past with that sun sign, who seemed quite interested in me and did pursue me to the point, that I had to very determined put my foot down and tell them to get lost.

But now, for a few months, I have found that I feel VERY attracted to my own sun sign or men with ASC in Sagittarius.

I`m quite surprised about this.
The last example was this singer I met in may, and beside the surprise about the attraction I felt there was an even bigger surprise, because it felt so NATURAL and easy to go to him and talk to him - and I`m usually rather shy, at least I thought that.

Alot of folks who know I am into astrology often ask me....

"What about same sign relationships?"

My reply is usually, "are you prepared to wake up each morning and look yourself in the mirror?"

Course all factors flavour our personalities, but the Sun sign energy one can never get away from...not even for a moment. It is always there, lingering, providing the basis for all of our other expressions (through) our other placements.

Honestly, Pisces have always driven me crazy....and it was not until I spent a good time "alone" (emotionally) that I could even deal with my own energy, mirrored back to me via another. I drove myself crazy for a good long time, too!

BUNNIES!!! you are too cute!!! Ya know, before my 20 yead old daughter introduced us, she said he said "same sun signs often to not get along...except, Pisces...."

blessings all..

First time in life with a partner with the same sign: capricorn. Truly interesting. Besides we have the same AC. Truly curious.
Is just like being with myself. I never opened my heart to sb so quickly.
And above all my Venus conjuncts his Mars: Too good to be true. LOL

Darkdreamer....lol I`m a sag too and NO WAY. Had two sag boyfriends, one in high school and one when I was about 21. Initially it was instant attraction, but the wandering eye, (pardon the pun) did me in. But they make great friends and are extremely entertaining. so I guess thats what I see in the mirror. sigh.

I just purchased a card for my Fishy-love today, says..

"even our shadows look good together..."

Thinkin about my verbal recital on this one..but states SO much, I believe...

When in-love with another of our Sun sign, we look directly in the mirror..

gypsee, i think that may be a good thing, if not afflicted.

are your talking about both partners with same venus and sun signs?

i would think, tho, there should be some other "easy" meeting of planets, cause, like i said, the same sign love relationship can be hard, causes you to look at yourself, in a different way, a different blend of energies, but the sun sign energy is always ever present.

Gypsee, were you born in 1977?
I have Sag Sun and Venus and that (maybe?) is what's causing my infatuation with Saggie Suns.
I just love us!
But seriously though, I get along great with Saggies and am also very attracted them.
Never met another Sag as hooked up on Saggies as I am.

Nope. I was born in 1966. on the 6th. of dec. three sixes. That has always freaked me out! I love us too. We rock. But then again, I love everybody, which tends to bite me in the hiney!

In the past year, I've found myself attracted to my own sign but before that, I never really associated with them romantically. Not a conscious decision, but it just never happened.

Not sure I would be able to be with another cancer unless we had similar placements. We'd probably connect because of the whole water affinity but I think besides the moodiness (a trait I totally own) and debilitating empathy, I'm too different from a textbook cancer. Though I'm not sure I believe there's a such thing as a textbook cancer anymore, judging from myself and the people I know.

Glad I am that I found this thread. Its exactly what I've been wondering about.

Just jumping in here...

I've only come across maybe a half dozen Scorpios in my entire life and, in the past 3 months, I've met no less than 12. I've become friends with a few, but 2 are kind of sticking out in my mind.

The one has a 4th house stellium similar to my 1st house one and the other shares a Venus in Scorp with me. I'm unsure how to proceed, if I should proceed, with either. Its a bit sticky.

But everyone here seems to have had success with their own sign? Heretofore, I've drawn in Air and Fire signs, but recently its been Earth and Water (my ex is a Cappy), so...

Any advice, words of wisdom?

My apologies for the length. I promise I'm not trying to hijack the thread.

Asphode

You are not hijacking anything!

Inupt always appreciated!

In my experience, the only Pisces (I am one) I ever attracted were not particullarly nice individuals, well, not individuals that I would want to hang out anyway.

I spent (all of my 46 years prior to meeting my Fish love) attracting a Scorp or two (Scorp asc) a hell of alot of Aquas as I have a huge Aqua influence and alot of Taurus women, I have a Bull moon....

And in reflection, what I discovered as far as the attraction factor, is that I attracted these people, not only energetically, but spiritually to work on areas, as reflected in my birth chart, of my personality that I needed to grow in!

It kind of creeps me out, I kind of feel like I have come full circle, attracting another Fish, like maybe this is my final learning experience (hope it is a long one ) that has to do with other humans before I die.

In my experience attracting the same sign folks is a time for learning the deepest, most intimate aspects of ourselves. Like coming home again, to look long and hard in the mirror...if we choose to do so.

Hi, thanks! I'm new and always slightly hesitant until I get to know everyone.

The two Scorpios I'm thinking about are, at the root of things, very much Scorpios. Their outward personas are very, very different, but I think they are good people.

How was your experiences with the Scorpios you met?

Geminis come to me in droves to help with the communication issue I have in my 3rd house. But I can't understand what the Scorps would be teaching me? If indeed it is that kind of lesson? I don't know, for once in my life, I'm fairly confused about why something is happening.

Maybe if I posted their charts?

How, if I may ask, are things working out in your Pisces/Pisces relationships?
