I'm so sad today...I really don't like Sundays. They are the most depressing day of the week and it has nothing to do with the weekend ending or work resuming..I just get really depressed on Sundays. Anyone else share this torture? IP: Logged |

I dreaded Sundays as a child. I hated that sombre religious overtone that seemed to say "No fun today ,it's Sunday"
And everything closed down.
And now we have a 24 hr society and I still think there is a weird vibe to the day.
The key is to do something and not slump around.
But if you are having a hard time or you have just broken up with someone it always feels ten times worse on a Sunday.

Maybe it's because for some cultures Sunday means "endings" - ie, ending of the week, a new week starts the next day. Being alone at an "ending" may lend a sense of abandonment to the day's passing.....  I'm sittin' in my room, starin' out the window

Sunday was the day my Scorpion and I spent together...and a few nights as well. So I guess it's a hard day and night to swallow... =/ IP: Logged |

Aww JustAmanda...here's a hug. Saturdays are my favorite day of the week (Sunday my least favorite) because I have the whole weekend ahead of me to do whatever I want to  IP: Logged |

you are not Just Amanda - you are THE Amanda!!!! Breaking up is hard and esp. painful on those days that you spent with that someone.It might be time to create/formulate YOUR Sunday. Make a plan and stick with it each Sunday - develop it as you go along! Eg, 1. Sleep in to 9.30am
2. Cook your fav breakfast
3. Read the newspaper
4. Call a relative
5. Spend 45 minutes on housework yep - only 45 
6. Have a long hot shower with your favourite shower creme
7. Dress up in your favourite jeans and t-shirt
8. Go to the markets with a friend or by yourself.
9. Buy yourself a really cool book/trinket/ice-cream/pot plant
10. Dream about your next update of ipod songs
11. Go home and spend hours and hours on Lindaland!! Voila! The perfect day!!! IP: Logged |
