Topic: You know how everyone says the 7th house is for love?

Well, I just googled "astrology definitions" and found this site...
http://www.azcentral.com/ent/horoscopes/glossary.html and here's what it says about the 5th house... Fifth House - The fifth area of an astrological chart. It represents recreation, creativity, hobbies, gambling, risks, children, love affairs and the extension of the self through children or love relationships.
Well..the reason I bring this up is because I've had 2 love affairs with an Aquarius and Scorpio and they are the ONLY signs that are in my 5th house...I thought that was pretty interesting!

very...though, the big sense of the 7th house in rships is that it is relating on an equal basis, not excitement, not thrills, not sex... this is 5th house domain sex in the 8th house domain i believe is deep bonding experience, soulmate kind of thing but 7th i think still refers to relating to ANYONE in ur life on an equal basis, as opposed, for example, to 6th house, which is quite unequal they say also being an air house it is much more intellectual and rational... u dont really feel that this is ur mate, u have rationalized that it is ur best complement... thus, this would explain the fact that they were love affairs, not some fixed thing in ur life, most composite charts i see have at least one planet in the 7th, in marriages i mean... my musings really IP: Logged |

 You'd have to have an enormous 5th house for it to encompass Scorpio through Aquarius. IP: Logged |

Hi,As I know 7th house is house of Marriage (doesn't mean if there is love or not). 5th house is house of Love and that doesn't mean there will be Marriage. 5th house is also house of children. About Sex:
somebody says it is 5th house and somebody it is 8th house. For me personally Sex belongs to the 5th. Buena

cant make up my mind though about the sex issue, because i know somebody with a full 8th and he is really into it, but then again, he has saturn in the 5th, which gives app problems with self-esteem, so dunno really where this comes fromreally cant make up my mind... IP: Logged |

Well AG, it's true! They are there! Least...that is what I think...oh jeesh, now I don't know if I'm right or not..lemme go pull up my chart on astro now...hehehe...

I am totally wrong and I'm sorry. I looked at the wrong house...6th...here is what I see...nothing in my 5th house so, so much for my topic! However, to explain myself a bit, in my 6th house, are Pluto (which Scorpio is under it's rule) and Uranus (which rules the Aquarius) so there's where I had the confusion...hey, but if you want to look at a really crazy looking chart (from what I've seen over the years anyway as far as how the lines are drawn on a chart) then look at this... me, Amanda, 12/16/70 Roanoke VA 1:55PM and him, J, 11/7/70 Roanoke VA 1:44AM check that out and tell me what you think about that crazy line!! The 7th house is the house of open enemies in relationships for me. I say this because Pisces planets are in bad aspect to my chart forming squares and quincunxs to my personal planets. Even though my best friend has Sun in Pisces, he has Aqua Mercury trine my Mercury. We have been best friends for over 15 years and have never argued once. But like I said, as far as romantic relationships go, i'd rather not deal with Pisces Suns. Now, Moon in Pisces under Sun in Libra is a different story............ I like the emotional temperment of a Pisces Moon under Libra Sun, that combo I can deal with even though that moon would quincunx mine. ------------------
