The eighth house also represents the material, mental, and spiritual resources of others and therefore shows in what way the person will share his her life with others, what the person contributes and what he she receives through contact with others. Because this house also represents sexuality and desires, it shows the nature of the persons emotional and sexual relationships with others.

The other individuals planets, which activate this house, have a strong effect on many levels of activity. They stimulate the physical realm, i.e., sexual and monetary urges, as well as the psychological and the spiritual. The way in which this activity is manifested depends on the nature of the planets activating the house, and on the aspects that they form.

In a chart comparison, when aspects are formed between the planets that are connected with the eighth house in one chart and the outer planets in the other chart, it can indicate that the individuals were involved in past lives in either monetary to business dealings.
