Well Mystic....on the day we met eachother there was nothing more than the Moon @ 5deg Pisces which was conjoining my moon and his ascendant. Emotions. But 2-3 months later when we saw eachother again and "consumated" Transitting Sun was 13deg Virgo 47....his natal Vertex is 16deg Virgo 58. Does that mean anything?

I did a synastry of that time...yes..the transiting sun was conjoining his natal vertex...and the transiting Venus, mercury and mars were conjoining my natal vertex. Do u really think there is something to it? Intereting. I LOVE reading your story. Are u studying to be a writer of any kind? Your rather good at it, dear.

Btw Mystic...Imm sure it's all passed by now...U r a Libra...no? Never try to tease opr plat games with a Scorp. It just isnt healthy. I eman..I know the Libra flirty way of teasing to make a point...but U really have NO idea how sensitive scorps are. They dont mess around and they mean buisness. I was raised by 3 of them.(My Aunts) and other aunt had Scorp rising. U cant imagine not only their sensitivity..but the intensity of the sensitivity...if that malkes sense. When I read that U mafe that comment "Thatys Ok...Ill just call someone else"...I was like....OOOOOH She DIDNT!!! Oh no...she DID. oooops! But Ifeel for you too, tho. OUCHY! I havnt finished reading the whole thing...but you are ok. I also know that for all the scorps sensitivity...they really think that certain things are their exclusive right in a realtionship. UNFAIR.

I'm really diggin' and pondering the vertex stuff u wrote. Thinking about it n researching ( considering the house placement, of course) nit almost seems like it has to be an "encounter" rather than long lasting n fulfilling n bla bla bla. It almost seems that u casn't get the "goods" out of the vertex encounter/experience....unless it was just that...an encounter...somewhat fleeting. I liked that quote about moments.

And does anyone have any experience with this aspecvt in Composite charts? Kismet mentioned this in another thread about Nodes....

(VERTEX) I also do not see any natal Vertex conjunctions. The Vertex represents fateful encounters. From this point, we would be able to see if meeting him was written in the stars so to speak. The only thing I see is that the composite Vertex is conjunct the composite DSC, supposedly this aspect is seen in the charts of marriage couples often.

Well, the thing is, he turned out to be a young (immature not by fault but nature), sexy, beer guzzling party animal type dude and he had a sweet heart but wasn't ready to get serious and also wasn't ready to just have a sex only type of relationship. But, as a friend of mine said, "he was just what (I) needed". It was perfectly orchestrated for him to come into my life when I had totally had my defenses down completely otherwise I NEVER would have done ANY of that. And I had just given up on ever finding a love partner a few days before that. Now I have faith that experiences will come and love will come... and everything will work out. I also feel beautiful again. He was a great gift.
I hope you read all of that Vertex stuff since you said that Vertex was on his natal sun.
Oh wait, you said:
the transiting sun was conjoining his natal vertex...and the transiting Venus, mercury and mars were conjoining my natal vertex.

Yes, that's super heavy duty based on that info I pasted in the thread, don't you think?

On our wedding day transiting Sun was conjunct my husband's Vertex and trine my Vertex (though most people usually don't count trines when it comes to Vertex transits, I'm starting to think they should be included or at least looked at since it was at play on that fateful day, at least in my case).

In synastry my husband and I have Vertex trine Vertex.

Yep, Mystic...I woul d say so. The North Node fascinates me too. My Venus n Saturn are conjuncting his NN in 4 th house. I'm astually just now delving into house overlays. I also wanted to tell you..I really enjoyed your writing. I'm reading this book called "Plan B: Furthur Thoughts On Faith" by Anne Lamott. Your writing style reminds me of her.

Ya...anymore postings about Vertex her are great. Thanks guys. It's an interesting little thing..whatever it is...is it an asteroid?

CrabbyFish, you are so sweet. I am pretty much at my worst right now... back and forth between enlightenment and insanity due to this passionate obsession I feel. So, my responses are lame and I don't expect any improvement soon. Just waiting for what's in store for me, appreciating what I receive/experience, and keeping the faith.

The vertex is a point, not an asteroid. Google search " linda-goodman.com " and then whatever you want information on like " vertex " and you should get a few hits on threads here with the info you are seeking at the time. Make sure to use the dash up there between linda and goodman if you want info from here.

Well hey Mystic...that's great info. I often wondered if I could do something like that for a specific search. And you what.. back n forth between enlightenment n insanity?....that's ok...you'll find the balance.

Peace....Crabby

Here's something Iv been discovering about the Vortex...oh pardon me, I mean Vertex. :P

Anyway...it shows up in my 7th house in synastry and/or composite of every guy involved in my life that has a crush on me. I am referring to the phenomenon of this occirring in the charts of marriage partners..it's very common, apparently, for the Vertex to be placed there in marriage partners. So it doesnt necessarily indicate marriage...in the traditional sense...in my opnion so far...based on my new discoveries...but I think it Can represent a marriage of some sort...with one guy...we are really forging a prefessional relationship..I am NOT pursueing the romance...Im just not interested in him that way...but HE is.

I just thought this might be interesting for others who are curious about this little point in the chart.

Peace

oh i love this thread, so informative!

I met someone special and fated last week... l made a chart of the exact time of meeting and then compared it to our natals.

His vertex was exact conjunct the meeting chart's AC
His AC was exact conjunct the meeting chart's vertex
his venus was exact trine charts vertex
My NN was exact trine charts vertex

In the 1st meeting chart, vertex was in the 5th house conjunct mars/sun.

In the composite vertex is in the 7th house.
In the progressed composite vertex is in the 6th house conjunct the DC (2 deg) and square the IC

In synastry, my anti-vertex conjunct his saturn exact. Double whammy's vertex/juno and vertex/sun.

I guess you could say we are fated
