ok, say you made a horrible mistake and you imagine how it blows up in your face or how a dark secret from the past is being exposed...do you think that by focusing on thoughts that way, you can actually manifest them? if so, can you counter it all by focusing on and expecting the best? im a little skeptical about all this, but lately nothing would surprise me. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst lol.I don't know. I think being scared about something sometimes increases the chances of attracting it...like the whole 'what you resist, persists' deal. So maybe to an extent, even by resisting 'negative' thoughts, we attract them. Kind of like how animals scent fear and go after it. I do think there's something to be said about visualization though. I think if we're in a situation where we maybe feel powerless, if we can consistently visualize ourselves being more empowered, then after a while we do begin to see that change externally. Taking charge of a situation, even changing our own 'luck'. It's more powerful to me than just 'thinking positively', because it's actually seeing something the way you want it in your mind's eye and making it a reality in some way. I'm a strong advocate of creative visualization; it works for me. IP: Logged |

yes you can.Your thoughts of yesterday are, your feelings of today and... your reality tomorrow. IP: Logged |
