Topic: Why can't I fall in love with him?

We had such a fairy tale beginning. Got engaged after just weeks of knowing each other. There was never a lot of passion and the physical chemistry wasn't exactly hot, but we were so compatible in every other way, it didn't seem to matter.Things fell apart in December and we've been "on again, off again" ever since. I am having trouble getting myself to seriously give it another shot... I feel like something is missing. He is a wonderful man, everyone loves him, he's extremely intelligent and attractive... yet I cannot get myself to think of him as more than a friend at this point. I love him tremendously but it is platonic. I now have to decide: should we give it another shot, or is it time to part ways? Would love any outside input on the synastry or composite.

If he's so wonderful why did it all fall apart in December?
Would that be because you are not "in love" with this guy?
It will not be your friends and family who have to live with him for the next however many years no matter how much they love him.
You are WAAAAAY too young to settle for comfortable.
Settle for comfort in your twenties, by the time you are 30 you will be eyeing up anything in pants no matter how ridiculously unsuitable, just to allieviate the boredom.The time to settle for Mr Wonderful (but we don't do sex except on his birthday) is when your idea of a good night is removing your support garments, settling down with a cup of Horlicks and watching the programmes you have circled in the tv guide. Hmmm....I'm having a hard time understanding the charts posted. Looking at the dates, I see Cap, Aries, and Taurus. Looking at the grid at the bottom of the second chart image, I see Pisces.

Hee!! Except, there's NEVER any reason, no matter how old you get, to settle for anything less than epic love, fireworks, and daily glee. Compulsory marriage is a relic of an era when women were used as their father's, then their husband's, economic property. Today, the only reason to be paired with someone in a romantic relationship is if you are madly in love with him. Otherwise, the guy is meant to be your friend. Or acquaintence. IP: Logged |
