Hi I stumbled upon this site and i'm VERY happy that I did. I've been trying to research what "Sun Conjunct Sun" means for a friend of mine and her fiance to no avail. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated. IP: Logged |

I have this with a guy..We are similar in alot of ways. Is your friends bdays really close to each others.. This is what I have for this aspect..
You strongly identify with each other and are very much alike in important ways. It is easy for you to be together because you do not have to explain yourselves to one another. An innate appreciation and understanding of one another's essence exists between you, and this is vitalizing and ego-affirming for both of you. However, you share the same flaws and weaknesses as well as the positive qualities, and you may find it difficult to be with someone who so clearly exhibits the very things you like least about yourself. The more you accept yourself, the more beneficial and delightful your relationship with one another is

Sun Conjunct Sun means they both have the same sun sign, or at least one has a birthday at the very end of the month, and the other has a birthday at the very beginning of the next month. It basically means the two are very similar and see the world in similar ways. Depending on which Sun signs they are, it is great for compatibility. But like everyone else here will tell you, you have to take the complete charts of both into consideration for compatibility. What are their birth dates and times of birth? ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! Thanks! Yes the both of you are correct. His birthday is on August 5, 1981 and hers is on July 28, 1988. Now that I think about it they do seem to be a lot alike. At the moment i'm unaware of their birth times. IP: Logged |

Hi Empress. I would not give this aspect too much credit in the general synastry unless the orb was extremely tight to begin with. Sun conjunct sun is a good old-fashioned compatibility factor. Basically the expression of their egos and personalities are the same. However, two people can have conjunct suns and still not act the same because of differences in their natal aspects. What this really signifies is that this couple sees the other person in the same way they view their own core personality (sun). For example someone with Venus trine their own Sun, upon meeting someone with a Sun that conjuncts theirs would find that their own harmonious Venus energy can be expressed towards that person in the same way it is expressed towards themselves, since their Venus would also trine the other person's sun. On the other hand, someone with a Sun square Saturn may find that the other person shares their own disliked qualities and is therefore incompatible with them on some level. When two of the same planets are conjunct in synastry, I always look at the natal aspects to see what the conjunction REALLY means. You are probably not as inclined to notice the effects of a sun conjunct sun as you are say a sun trine venus or sun square mars or any natal aspect to their sun that also hits their partner's sun. Sun conjunct Sun is not necessarily good. It means that one of the two has to be more spiritually advanced than the other, and more patient. It's harder to maintain than most relationships, but it can be worth it because they understand each other so well. IP: Logged |

I felt quite uncomfortable when I met this guy once because it looked as if I was talking to myself.I felt quite suspicious and thought he was imitating my manners on purpose. Then I discovered this and took a rest: Same sun conjunct Same AC, DC, MC, IC Same edge of the houses (house overlays are simmetric in the charts) lol IP: Logged |

Yes, similarities are there which makes it too familiar, and therefore boring to me. Maybe it's the whole predictability with Taureans... heheIP: Logged |

I've known a few sun cj sun people in my life. I generally have an affinity with them and find them easy to talk to. They understand me as I them. One of my friends and I have an ongoing joke when we talk about relationships and odd behaviours and why noone else understands us lol.. he just puts it down to us being Taurus's and "perhaps we should stick to our own kind" hehe it cracked me up when he said that (he's not into astrology at all like I am!). I am 12 May his bday is 11 May, 1 year apart. It works for us.I have a friend born on 1 May. He and I have an unsaid .. thing! I don't know how to explain it. We haven't had many DnMs though there is something deeper there without anything being said. We don't talk deeply when we see each other because it's normally amongst other friends but there is definitely affection for each other though no relationship. His Sun cj Moon both cj my Venus and we are born 11 days apart (My sun loosely conjuncts these about 12 degrees away) His Aries Venus cj Mercury conjuncts my Mercury. Looking at the whole chart really is important, but with purely sun - sun conjunctions I generally get along with these people really well, similar outlook on life. Even with a stubborn fixed sign like Taurus IP: Logged |
