To start look at Moon, Venus and Mars as they (to me) realte to the individual on a more personal level.

Aspects
These depend on orb value/angles etc relative to distance from each other...

Conjunction-
an aspect between two planets with the same sign energy. These planets are alike in projecting their energy in respect of the sign that they are in

eg. Moon in cancer conjunct mars in cancer.

Trine-
an aspect between two planets with different but compatible sign energy. These planets are alike in projecting the same element(air or water) but differ in the signs that they are in
eg. Cancer and Scorpio are both water elements but project their energy in differing ways.

Sextile-
an aspect between two planets with differing but compatible elements (eg. Air and Fire or Water and Earth. These energies are often the same in masculinity or femininity but unalike in projection
eg. Aquarius and Sagittarius(Air and Fire) but both are considered masculine signs.

Opposition-
an aspect between two planets with the same modes as well as the same energy but different elements.

eg. Leo and Aquarius( both are masculine signs with fixed modes and differing elements; one is in fire(leo) while the other is in air(Aquarius).

Square-

An aspect between two planets of the same mode but differing elemets as well as differing energy eg Cancer and Aries (Both are of the same mode( cardinal) and have differing elements(water and fire respectively) and differing energies(masculine and feminine) respectively.

I'll do one example for you although I am not sure that it is from your birth chart(natal)or is a comparison chart beween you and a significant other(synastry)... :

Moon Trine Neptune

Your emotions(moon) are in good relations( trine) with your collective spiritual perspective(Neptune)

This means it is not easy for you to bare grudges and so you are quick to forgive and forget as you empathize quickly with other people.

Moon Sextile Pluto

Your emotions(moon) are in constructive relations (sextile) with your collective drive(pluto).

This means that you know how to yield your nurturing instincts in order to get the best out of situations that'll benefit people on a very deep conscious level.

This is often a very good aspect for mothers,fathers, lovers as it gives them incredible emotional appeal that is intense ,focused and likely to be transformative.
