I think sometimes "love just ain't enough" but then again, it depends on circumstances.

Yes, If one loves themselves...enough..

I can not go through this life thinking anything else other than, when all is done, when all of this and that is finished...there is anyting else left besides...

"love."

In some way. I think rejection of one type of love leads to another type of love. So, love always leads to some kind of love. Romantic love, friend-love, child love, self love, humane love, divine love.

In the sense that God is Love and Love Knows what is best for us... and that we should be thankful that we don't always get what WE think we want...

I totally agree.

Thanks to everyone for your answers.

My personal feeling is that Love should always win, because that is the most important thing that matters. I think that love is forgiveness, patience and understanding. I think that is the main lessons that humans are here to learn, what Love is and why it is important.

....love always leads to some other kind of love....

yes hopefully. To unconditionally love another person, you must remove your own ego. Sometimes, to love is to let go, to let GROW.

Personally I think if you've ever loved someone, that is really loved them, it never goes away. Love is energy.

Having said that, I reflect on people with whom I thought I was "in love" and at the time I felt it so deeply. Now, not so much. Where did that go? I guess that the line between love and infatuation is very hard to see, sometimes. sry for rambling.

No, love often loses. Especially in this day and age, when people are so estranged from each other, conducting entire disappointing and not even real relationships via facebook and text message, not even seeing each other every day and holding each other. All of this distance and technology leads people to mistake fantasy for love more than they would if they were actually talking in person, and touching.

In many places, suicide rates are rising. In that way, people are dying of loneliness. And, in the US at least, so many people are anesthetizing themselves from real emotions and true, deep transformation, intimacy, connection and change with psychiatric drugs--the combination of the drugs and the distance is taking a lot of power and potential away from the possibilities for humans to connect in this society.
