Quick question:

He's a Gem Sun, Aries Moon, with Cancer in Venus, and Cap in Mars.

I'm a Leo Sun, Sag Moon, (Go FIRE!!) with Libra in Venus, and Cap in Mars as well.

We've already hung out and had a great time, amongst other things, but I've never dated a Gemini man before. Just curious about some people's past experiences or overall thoughts on the pairing based solely on signs.

It's Venus in Cancer and Mars in Cap, not the reverse (or you could say Cancer Venus and Cap Mars as you did with the other placements).

The pairing is fine, or even good I would guess. You're both masculine Suns. You're on either side of Cancer, which means that there's a decent chance of your composite Sun being in Cancer, which means that the character of your relationship at it's core will be Cancerian: it will be a relationship that merges, that seeks security, you will likely initiate things as a couple.

Geminis need energy, and Leo radiates in abundance.

Leo-Sagittarius is fun. Moon in Sag, here.

Gemini w/ moon in Aries, needs a take-charge, B!tchy sort of woman to keep him interested.

you will get along great and have a lot of fun, but when you want commitment he might not want commitment. maybee not all gem's but that has been my experience. leo is all about forever, gem's are all about the fun. unless you can make him think it is his idea. you know, let him chase you till you catch him kind of thing.

the cancer venus might make the difference though.

I'm August 15th, and he's June 2nd. So far, it's been kinda crazy. He's the one who is very vocal about wanting to stick around and actually start something... whereas I'm the one who is a little hesitant, just because I always am. It's fun, just, not what I was expecting!

And thanks for the tip about how I should say our signs! I get ahead of myself sometimes

I personally feel GREAT about my past relationships with Gems, even though I am a Leo/Cancer Moon and none lasted forever. I didn't want forever with any of the Gems. They were adorable, the sex was full of sparks, and we always fundamentally had a great friendship. A Gem knows how to really talk with a Leo woman and how to keep her from getting bored.

With your Sag Moon, you'd be waaaayyy less eager to commit than a less mutable Leo. To me this looks like a good connection.

If you can find each of your exact birth times/places, it would be great to look at your full synastry...it can be really revealing.
