Sun opposition Mars - with this aspect in our composite chart, should I give up on this before I even start???I'm a Scorpio woman very strongly attracted to a Cancer man, and he is also strongly attracted to me, but we haven't come together. Neither of us will make the first move. What in our charts is stopping us? me - 11/2/67, 4:30 a.m., mckeesport,pa him - 6/29/77 12:00 p.m. pittsburgh,pa Also, any insight from Scorpio/Cancer couples that have survived long-term would be greatly appreciated

pretend you never heard of astrology for just one minute, would it still be a deal breaker?Love conquers all, that is what i was taught by older folks who did not follow astrology. IP: Logged |

I agree with GyspeeForget about astrology. If you were to "rule out" all potential suiters due to what is in the "stars" you would be hard pressed to be accepting of any man.. Besides, there is something to be said for challenges, for learning potential. My Rose-coloured-Pisces spectacles would try to lend me to believe that the world is all about peace, love and understanding... Eventually I think this is true, but to get there??? Just re-lease and go for it!!! IP: Logged |

I'm far from being professional, but maybe you can try to see how is this aspect reflecting in the real life, to determine whether it is a real deal breaker or not. I'd guess that this aspect can point out to heated fights, but I'm not sure lol.The worst challenges generally involves composite oppositions/squares between Uranus/Neptune/Saturn/Chiron. But I don't think they mean 100% doom. It just depends on how hard the challenges are, and how much the couple can handle it. So if this is the only challenge in your composite, I'd say don't worry about it. X3 But well, if you haven't been together as a couple yet, then not everything in the composite will fully manifest yet. In any ways, I think that you should go with your heart first, and then only some time after request an astrological reading if you really must. ^_~ IP: Logged |

This is from someone who helped me interpret our synastry:"Pluto[11 li] conjunct your asc,[10 libra] which opposes your saturn[6 aries]. Pluto conjunct Asc helps create a grand square in this synastry chart. His natal square between his pluto and his sun/mercury, connects to your natal t-square between your asc opposed saturn, square mars." Does anyone feel there are enough good aspects to overcome the intense karmic aspects? IP: Logged |

monk, i don't accept that any one aspect is a deal breaker! in fact some of the worst-looking synastries or composites belong to lifelong partners, and i don't mean the ones who hate each other but stay together out of inertia...if it were a natal chart would it be a deal-breaker? how could it? so why in a relationship would it be? Hi I'm Cancer man born in the year of fire dragon. Could you by all means be a Scorpio-Water dog? I have got some responds from those alike and by all means they are nearby irrestible. Only problem is that they don't pass the Khwedotas criteria. Without Khwedotas I got to stick with my Baresma path and find a Cancer-Water dog, Virgo-Water dog or Sagittarius-Water dog instead.IP: Logged |
