(This thread is regarding a book by Gary Goldschneider and Joost Elffers called 'The Secret Language of Relationships')I'm kind of confused... in the book it says we're a good combination for Marriage and that we make "excellent spouses" with a "special chemistry" often marrying after an "immediate physical attraction and an exciting love affair". Hah.. Well, comparing birth charts, it doesn't tell the same story.. there seems to be an even amount of squares and oppositions as there are trines, conjunctions and sextiles. But the thing is, there aren't enough direct aspects in the 'personal planets' area. The only thing we got there is a Venus trine Venus and Mars trine Mercury. Other than that, his sun opposes my merc. and our mercs. oppose each other.. So I don't know which to trust more, the book (which usually is pretty dead on when I've used it to compare relationships) or the birth chart. Mind you, I don't have his birth time, so maybe that would become useful once the ascendants come into play.. but it seems to me that the whole "Opposites Attract" thing is pretty apparent here.. Your comments are very much appreciated. p.s. He's an Aries I and I'm a Virgo II IP: Logged |

the book you're referring to is cute and all, but it's really little more than pop astrologyIP: Logged |

Yeah, the book sounds a little generic, IMO.Actually, I've heard of several Aries / Virgo successful relationships which do last, so don't knock it 'til you try it IP: Logged | |
