Hi How would a male with venus in cancer get along with a female with venus in scorpio? Since they are both water signs, I know this would be well but are there any specifics to this combination?IP: Logged |

I think it would be great. The Cancer Venus may be a little bit clingier, and the Scorp Venus would probably like a little more alone time than the Cancer one, but, it's been my experience with Scorpio people that they enjoy being uber-loved.This is a total generalization, btw. IP: Logged |

I have pVenus in Cancer & work with pVenus in Scorpio. I like it best when I'm not sharing space with them. I suspect other forces are at play. IP: Logged |

I agree other natal aspects can taken into effect.I have venus in Cancer and Im not clingy at all. As a matter of fact I need alot of space. Maybe cuz I have venus in hard aspects. I don't like public displays of affection, that should be kept private. But privately and during "alone" time all that is out the window... Venus in Cancer was to take care of or be cared for.... It's nice that they're in trining signs, and if they're in positive aspect that's good as well. However, matching up Venus signs isn't the way to go about exploring if there's potential there. There are far too many other elements that come into play.A man's Venus describes something about the kind of woman he's attracted to. Being in Cancer, he could like a well-endowed woman; certainly a woman that's somewhat obviously feminine. He'll be attracted to charming women that have the initiative to start projects. Also, it wouldn't bother him if you take care of yourself financially, and keep a comfortable home. That's what I get from a man with Venus in Cancer. IP: Logged |

Hmmm...that's a good question. I'm not real sure. I think it's mostly what he likes. How I treat women could be a combination of planets, but would definitely include my Moon's influence, and quite possibly my Sun's as well. You shouldn't worry too much about Cancer's stereotypical obsession with the breasts. I think there are a lot of guys that like a variety of body types. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Cancer at 29* Accoustic God summed it up pretty well. When I care about a woman, I want to make sure she is well taken care of. Venus in Cancer absolutely needs committment or it bothers the heck out of us. As far as liking big breasts, yes I do but I wouldn't ever turn down a good woman with a flat chest and/or a flat rear. To me it's all about personality. Sure there has to be some physical attraction but for me, it's all about the personality first.I used to be attracted to a woman with Venus in Scorpio. She's cool but nothing ever happened between us so I really couldn't tell you how they are in a relationship. ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! But venus opposite venus is also a sextile, so does that usually work? Or is it more like the square? The reason why I ask is I was in a relationship with a venus square venus and it was horrible.IP: Logged |

Not sure I follow Earthygirl. An opposition is 180˚ and a Sextile is 60˚. They aren't the same. ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! IP: Logged |

Sorry! I forgot all about this thread! I do that sometimes. Thanks Vapor Lash! I can understand the reasoning behind equating an opposition with a sextile, because it's a pairing of signs are either both masculine or both feminine but which fall under a different element. Like Leo and Libra are sextile. They're both masculine, but one's Fire and the other's Air. Similarly, Leo and it's opposite Aquarius are both masculine, once again with Fire and Air. So, to answer that question, opposites should be fairly harmonious like a sextile. However, while opposites look at things in a similar manner their approach in dealing with things come from different directions, which can sometimes bring tension. IP: Logged |

Oh okay! Thanks for clearing that up AG! I didn't know that! I guess that's why I've always gotten along with Sagittarius people. I think I've only met about 2 that have seriously rubbed me the wrong way. ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! No problem! My Acendant and Saturn are in Gemini, and I have three planets in Sag, so I like both those signs quite a bit, too. I've had the most relationships with girls/women with the Sun sign opposite mine (Cancer), though at this point I've kind of sworn them off because I lose too much of myself in the interaction.IP: Logged |
