Ok, since I really am determined to be an active participant in these forums, I have a question regarding someone I have feelings for at the moment. But thats not the complicated part lol.
The thing is, she's Capricorn Sun, Cancer Moon, and has Venus in Aquarius. She's so aloof it isnt funny. Im usually really good at reading people, but not her. Her behaviour kinda confuses me aswell. I heard once that the more a venus in aquarius feels for you, the more they'll try and pretend you dont exist. Is this true?
Also, for the record Im Virgo Sun, Scorpio Moon and Venus in Virgo. Would a synastry chart reveal more about how she may or may not feel?

About the Aqua Venus - it depends. It would depend if she has feelings for you at all. Which is not necessarily going to be shown by a chart.You should put up her chart first. The sign placement is one thing, but I need to get a whole feel for her chart first.

I have been madly in love with a cap sun, taurus moon, and acquarius venus for almost a year and I can confirm that it has been a long, uphill, and unfruitful process. 3 baby steps forward, 1 giant leap back, hiatus, repeat. IP: Logged |

i'm sun (12th), ac, moon aries. venus (11th) aquarius. mercury/jupiter (12th) pisces.mars (2nd) & saturn (3rd) gemini. pluto (6th) & uranus (7th) libra. neptune (8th) sag. IP: Logged |

Oh yes, I meant sun/moon/ac... I was just curious what men astrologically were attracted to that combination of energies... the earth and air. (I'm a libra with cap moon and AC, virgo merc, libra venus and aqua mars) I was thinking about Dreamers placements and how often I am attracted to that combination of energies so I wondered if your placements were similar as well. sadly, no earth to be found in my chart!
his chart has a fair balance but no water.i think in some way we filled in the missing holes (he has 2 earth planets and I have 2 water planets) IP: Logged |

Sorry, efk... I thought you were a guy in love with a Cap girl with Taurus moon and Aqua Venus. I just didn't read your post very well and thought you were agreeing with the original poster about being crazy about the same type of girl. :/ Of course that wouldn't even necessarily mean you were a guy either... sry IP: Logged |

Thanks for the advice, MysticMelody Yeah she's one fascinating combination, to say the least.
And I so agree about the 3 small steps forwards, one leap backwards with this kind of combo. Its like you think you're getting closer to them, then you get the cold shoulder. Even when theyre flirting, theres still a certain coldness about them. And I think im hard to understand :P

totally agree with what Ekf said, been seeing a Cappy guy with Moon in Gemini and Venus in Aquarius for 4 years now, we only properly got serious a year ago after years off attraction, getting together... *hiatus!!!!* definitely a few of those. was very frustrating and confusing for me but if she's worth it, keep the faith!!! my guy is.IP: Logged |

4 years?????  i was kind of hoping we'd have this done and done by september (though it seems like unusually wishful thinking given we haven't had any contact in 5 weeks!)
Lord knows patience was one of my needed lessons, but that feels extreme. Sadly I have no other choice. Have done everything to get over him, all efforts to no avail. Sorry Mystic for the confusion. sounds similar with the whole no speaking for the last five weeks thing! with me and my boyfriend, you have to understand both of us are only twenty-two so we met first year at uni, both were eighteen. we were both pretty young and emotionally less mature (especially him, as a guy). so hopefully it won't take sooo long for you! but i have to tell you the hiatuses does sound familar! i think you'll just have to ride it out. i wasn't seeing this guy singularly for four years. i never thought we would actually end up serious together, though i did want it a lot! it just kind of ended up that way.
i wish you good luck....... if it's what you want then don't block her out.

As someone with pMoon currently in Capricorn, and a string of Capricorn flirtations in my past, I'll say this: Capricorn is a very straight forward sign in the romance department. Shy and reserved yes, but if the like you they'll get straight to the point with a lot of awkward flirting.If you have to guess where you stand with them, probably not interested. One Sun/Moon combination book I used to own says to date this combo is to date two people: The Cap/Can & her mother. If you haven't felt this, she ain't interested. IP: Logged |

Oh she flirts a lot. But when I attempt to get close to her it's like she gets scared and backs off. I think that's the aquarian defense mechanisms coming through.
I tend to come across as sort of intense and distant as well, (my ascendant is aquarius), so I dunno maybe that also causes her to back off a little.
I love capricorns though, I cant help it. Some of my closest friendships have been with Cappies. They're all softies underneath, although come to think of it, it took years to build those friendships into what they are now. IP: Logged |

Though I agree that Capricorn is supposed to be a straight forward sign and most Cappies live up to this reputation, I have to say from experience that it is not often as simple as that!!! I do think that Venus in Aquarius makes things very much more confusing, this combination is quite paradoxical in some ways. BUT Cappies are some of the most soft-hearted lovely people underneath their 'all business', hard outer shell. I totally relate to your experience of the detatchment of Venus in Aquarius. I also have to say one of my very best friends is Capricorn and she confides in me a lot - she has a very hard time with letting people in 'romantically', and is a very strong female, but she has begun to be scared that she is too rigid and closed off to people - I think especially in YOUNGER Capricorns, it takes time to learn how to let people into their lives even if they WANT to.I also have to say, i once heard the quote "Earth people need to be known to be loved, water people need to be loved to be known' and it totally makes sense to me. =) Capricorns take a long, long time before you know the real them. OK, My last guy that I recently ended things with is Aqua/Cap cusp Sun with Aqua/Cap Moon cusp Venus in Aqua..Very confusing person..I am use to Aqua men and how they act, but Cap thrown in there was something else. I don't have the patience to deal with all that up and down stuff. Yes you do have to be very patient and or really love one of the guy to stay around. They are moody and when they get into one of their moods you don't even exist. He told me that I like you very much I know that you can;t tell and im sorry about that.
His behavior was very confusing and erratic and hurtful to me. And he may or may not meant to be this way with me but I don't have tolerance for that and deserve to be treated better. I also have Asc,Moon,Venus in Aqua so I know how to deal with that..I don't know about the Cap part.. IP: Logged |

Hi - I don't have Aqua.. just Sun/Venus in 11th (Sun: Aries, Venus: Taurus)I have a Capricorn Moon and Mars. Just wanted to chime in that 4 years does not seem long to me. I was friends with someone for 2.5 years and we only recently began dating (he has a Virgo stellium btw & Scorpio Mars -- I love BOTH of these signs). I like it this way. Impatience frustrates me and I end up seeing the person as immature. Actually this is a good test for me....

Hey Vapor,truth be told the last 3 men that caught my attention were all earth signs. My husband (together 12 years) was a Taurus, first man out of marriage was a Virgo, and then the Capricorn (though I'm 90% sure he's Leo AC, which helps balance) I'm clearly looking for a little bit of earth to ground me (lord knows I need it!). Should probably add that my Dad is an earth sign - so there's probably something there also. I'll be honest that this was my first encounter of "love at first sight". He was a magnet literally across a crowd of 40,000 people. It seems there's a past life story to work out... What keeps me going? A lot. I'll go through the superficial answers first: I'm an Aries so I get bored quickly and his confusing moves always keep me guessing. For better or for worse. Also as an Aries usually once the objective is achieved the "spark" is gone, and he gives things one millimeter at a time. On top of that, he's grounded (obviously!) he takes his time before he moves and it forces me to do the same (despite mountains of frustration!). He's ambitious, but not inscrupulous, and wants to make a difference somewhere but hasn't found where he can do that yet. And at the end of the day he's the most genuinely "good" person that I've met who brings out the best person in me. There are also other reasons that I can't stay away (synastry: mars conjunct sun, venus trine pluto ehem.) but these are the big ones. We haven't spoken in 7 weeks and haven't seen each other in 5 months. Yet there isn't a nerve in my body that believes this is over. All that said, I don't know if I would have dedicated this much time to any Capricorn (the other caps I know are quite frustrating and extremely "heavy") - but I can't help but dedicate time to THIS Capricorn. i am a female with a cap sun, gemini moon and venus aquarius and i agree that i am a paradox within myself. people who don't understand me will say that i am very impersonal and evasive, sometimes weird in the way that i won't conform to certain standards in a relationship. the way to get to my heart is to be my friend and entertain my intellect. if i feel like i have that intellectual connection with someone, i will stick around. the one thing that i do hate the most is vulgarity but i think that comes from my taurus rising. i can relate to turning invisible. i have done that on many occasions where i have felt that things are becoming too heavy. i kind of turn off.
